While he didn't have any distinctive dire wolf characteristics before he became an adult, his unintentionally crude and temperamental personality made him unlikable. He's a good person when he isn't speaking every thought in that pretty head of his. He ended up spending most of his time with his outgoing mother, watching her work hard and being taught a thing or two. He hoped to one day be as strong as what his mother does, and travel even further than any of the sled dogs go. Unfortunately, his travels have taken him far from home.

Past Born as the first and only son to a human blacksmith, Kalim grew up never knowing his father or being accepted all that much by other humans. While he didn't have any distinctive elf characteristics before he became an adult, his unintentionally crude and temperamental personality made him unlikable. He ended up spending most of his time with his outgoing mother, watching her work hard and being taught a thing or two.
