Brando is the personal bodyguard to Adriano Vieri, the new Don of the Vieir family. He's tough and mean and doesn't back down from any challenge...as long as there's money on the table.

Brando Russo was born into a big family that was indebted to the mafia to keep the family business afloat. But it wasn't enough. His father was constantly desperate for help, and the mafia barely helped them scrape by according to his father. He grew to resent the mafia for making his youth so miserable. At a young age, he put a lot of his energy into sports, exercise, and reading, trying to become both physically and mentally strong so that he wouldn't be weak and downtrodden like his family. Having no money growing up made his relationship with money a complicated one. He's quite greedy, willing to do just about anything for money as long as he earns it himself. But he doesn't take handouts from anybody; he doesn't want to have to depend on anybody but himself or owe anyone anything. He doesn't want to form that dependency like his only family had become accustomed to.

Brando dropped out of school pretty early in life, needing to help out his family. He never made many friends. He had always kept to himself, so he grew up to be independent and reserved, wanting to keep people at bay. He taught himself what he needed to know for the most part, so he didn't really miss school either. He was willing to work, so he did. And as the years went by, the more he could do, and the more jobs he could take on. Often times he gets hired out for risky jobs that no one else wants to take, security in bad parts of town, bodyguard to important or sometimes hated people. He never liked his work. 

One day, he got offered a job by the very same mafia family that screwed over his family. The Vieri Family. So he took the job in a heartbeat, in hopes of seeking his revenge. But his actions were impulsive and not calculated. He didn't know what he was getting himself into.  He was surprised to see that the man who hired him was just some shithead playboy, who seemed like he was playing house instead of being the new don. Not only was this man getting too old to be playing around like a useless playboy, but he was a real asshole too. But this asshole named Adriano seemed to take a liking to Brando for some reason and gave him a permanent gig. Brando didn't want to refuse this far-too-easy opportunity to achieve his goal and take some real time to properly plan out his revenge. 

Adriano doesn't seem to mind Brando's distaste for the mafia. In fact, Adriano seems to like Brando's attitude and everything else about him. Much to Brando's chagrin.
