Her being a raccoon doesn't have much significance to me, but the name Sochi does. Sochi is a city in Russia known as a summer beach resort! I have many happy memories surrounding this place and I really wanted to reflect that with this gal. Her fur has glitter in it, her nails and paws, eyes, and stars all glow in the dark. She smells like sunscreen, she loves to dance, as well as shiny and glow in the dark things. She is meant to reflect my inner child, so she is very dear to my heart. Another reason I wanted to create her was to feel closer to home. I moved to America in 2013, and for the last 9 years I've felt homesick. I'm so upset that I can't see my family, or go back home.
