Juniper grew up within the region of Kanto with their parents Matías and Rozlyn Cyrah. Life didn’t find itself particularly hard, something that stemmed from her families wealth. Their mother had been leading Team Rocket since before they were born, which also led to a more sheltered upbringing as well.

Despite the easier life, Juniper never got along with her parents– more specifically her mother. Sure being raised by people as shitty as the people leading Team Rocket can lead to some obscured views on the world, but with big responsibility came bigger expectations and Rozlyn seemed to hold up the idea of a prim and proper child who would take over Team Rocket after her.

Good luck with that.

The best thing that could have come out of being raised by her parents was the Shiny Eevee she had named Mystical. The Pokémon having been stolen with the intention of giving her to Juniper in the first place.

Only the best for their child it seemed.

A Run Away(13yr-16yr)

Unfortunately for Junipers parents however, she had run away from home at the age of thirteen. Taking nothing more then a bag of some supplies and her Eevee before running off for Hoenn. They had no real direction aside from simply getting away, and Hoenn seemed far enough to be out of their view, out of Team Rockets view as well.

Juniper only stayed in Hoenn for about a year and a half however. Stealing a shiny torchic from the professor and catching a trapinch for herself before they were changing regions again. There wasn’t much for them in Hoenn nor did they have much of a real goal in mind even after being on her own for over a year now. Maybe Sinnoh would provide a bit more… clarity.

Juniper wasn’t in Sinnoh incredibly long before she was reminded of the existence of Team Primal. The Team had managed to pass their parents lips on multiple different occasions for the annoyances they kept managing to cause them despite only being station in Sinnoh.

So when a Team Primal member caught her on the streets of Veilstone and offered them a spot in the team their parents hated so badly, who was she to refuse a chance to spite her parents?

Finally, Home.(21yr-24yr)

Juniper had been with Team Primal for a little over five years when she was approached by one of the Teams higher ups. Specifically the quietest of Admins by the name of Pandora Hart. Being probably the lesser outspoken of the trio helping run Team Primal, she gave every reason for suspicion. Though the last thing they or anyone else could have really expected was the request to get close to one of Team Starlights admins and one of the leaders sisters; Estella Hinata.

It was simple really. Get close to her in whatever way nessasary, extract whatever information possible about Akari specifically and try to stay in contact with her if possible to hopefully extract more information from her if the situation arised.

Pandora was able to offer up a location for where Estella would be, one that made sense considering the timing of such a request. The resort area, on the second half of her two week vacation from work - a perfect time and excuse to speak to the usually busy admin.

Approaching her proved to be easy enough, despite her position Estella wasn’t the most catious of her approach and seemed more than happy to spend what time she had currently talking to Juniper. Over the course of that week interacting with her proved enjoyable and it seemed Estella was already quick to trust her, perfect.

Estella seemed more than eager to actively speak to Juniper between work following her vacation. Taking every chance possible to call them or even meet up with them whenever she was able to spare the time. It was only about two months before the two of them had begun dating. Within that same month Estella became insistent on Juniper getting a fun job.

As far as Estella was aware, Juniper wasn’t working and Estella being, well… Estella. She was determined to change that. It took a bit of persistence directed at Akari to pull the right strings, but Estella managed to get Juniper her own gym. Taking over the old fighting type gym and renovating it into a dark type gym for her to run.

Whilst the relationship on Estella’s end had never been anything less than what it appeared to be at face value, over the course of the first year the relationship with Estella shifted further and further away from just a job assigned to her by one of their higher ups and became something more.

They had started to care about her.

It was a little after the end of their first full year together that Team Primal finally managed to kill Champion Cynthia, in the process - almost killing Estella as well.

Juniper had not realized the amount of casualities that were purposely going to follow Champion Cynthia’s death until after the fact. Cynthia was dead and every single active Team Starlight member present at the event was dead aside from Estella herself and Juniper was pissed.

Following the mission, Estella had left Team Starlight proving to make the now truamatized woman less of an asset to Team Primal than she was before. It was easy enough to feed Pandora a quick “She won’t talk about Team Starlight at all anymore.” To get the admin to stop asking questions with a simple demand to report to her if she starts talking again.

The following year was layered with a lot of changes, with Estella taking over the Oreburgh Gym the two of them were able to spend a lot more time together. So much so to a point that Juniper began to find themself spending more time with Estella at her gym than vice-versa.

By the end of the year, everything seemed to be calming down. Estella was coping and Juniper wasn’t spending a lot of time at Team Primal with the excuse of being a gym leader. The last thing they could have expected was for the year to go out with quite a bang.

Luna had sent Estella’s younger sister back in time and within the week Luna was supposedly found dead. Nothing was adding up between Pandora’s claim that Luna was killed by Team Starlight and the absolute radio silence on the information from Team Starlights end.

Despite that, she wasn’t payed enough to care.

The year following wasn’t too bad, though with Pandora’s takeover of Team Primal - Juniper was supposedly planned to take over the vacant admin spot when she was ready to fill it. So the following year was simply a waiting game until the promotion was finally given to them.

Though it never arrived.

Juniper didn’t even get the chance to hear about someone else being promoted into the admin position instead. A Time Distortion had formed on top of Veilstone City so after being so rudely bothered by Wyvern, they went off to deal with whatever the aftermath of this Time Distortion was.

Though upon arriving into her city, Juniper found herself sucked in with the disapearing Time Distortion.

Into the Past?(25yr-27yr)

On the bright side of being sucked into a Time Distortion, they came out relatively unharmed. On the bad side, they were a hell of a long way from Sinnoh.

Upon being sent into Hisui, Juniper was found by a woman by the name of Laila Faerydae who was currently living in Jubilife City. Laila had been incredibly hostile and distrusting at first, having seen Juniper come right out of one of the weird “Space-Time Distortions”. After some short explanation of what had happened, Laila eventually came around and ended up bringing Juniper back to Jubilife Village with it.

It was there that Juniper met Veronica, Scylla and… Yuna? Though to Juniper, they no longer remembered their friend. It seemed the same could be said about Yuna, as she had introduced herself to Juniper as if she had been meeting a complete stranger.

Had her memories not been gone, Juniper would know exactly who this person was– how the memory loss effected time-travelers. Something explained to her by Estella, prior to her being sucked into the Time Distortion.

During Juniper's first year in Hisui, she learned about the Spirit Users. The four girls didn’t seem to know a lot about it, but they knew enough thanks to Veronica’s mew. Furthermore, Juniper learned she also had a Spirit Form, the form of an Alternate Hisuian Zorua.

It seemed within the first month of being in Hisui however, they were on the verge of disaster. Juniper hadn’t found themself too involved with the inner workings of the Space-Time Distortions or what was happening with them. But when Scylla and Yuna had approached both herself, Laila, and Veronica about the space-time rift in the Sky that had expanded and in turn Galaxy Team Commander Kamado had blamed each of the Spirit Users for it, kicking them out of the Jublife Village. The group was suddenly tasked with having to find a way to resolve this.

And fast.

It took a week and great effort from the entire group before they managed to resolve the issue and be let back into Jublife Village. With the space-time rift closed, it seemed Yuna finally received her chance to go back home, so she left, leaving Scylla, Veronica, Laila, and Juniper behind to return to her present.

A present that Juniper no longer remembered.

Into the Past?(28yr-Present)

Things had been relatively calm for the clan after they went into hiding. With the space-time distortions fizzled out and being clear out of the way of any of the regular people within Hisui. They were safe… For awhile.

That was until what appeared to be more space-time distortions started making appearances around Hisui again. It was weird, they seemed to look the same but the energy around them was off. It was enough to have Laila in enough of a stress that Juniper wound up volunteering to go take a look.

There was a bit of back and forth, after the death of both Scylla and Veronica she wasn’t too keen on letting Juniper going anywhere near the main land. It was a lot of convincing before she was finally off, and when they got there it seemed she was finding herself right back at square one. In a scene that was almost too familiar to what little bit she remembered from her sudden arrival into Hisui, Juniper was pulled into an out of control supposed “space-time distortion” and forcefully dragged back to where they had come from.

Being dropped back into Sinnoh wasn’t something Juniper found herself too prepared for. Sure they remembered being dropped in Hisui, but nothing before that. Still couldn’t even remember anything of their time here. Though the Team Primal admin - Wyvern - that found her seemed to know exactly who they were.

For Juniper, it’s been four years since they’ve been in Sinnoh. For those she left behind, they had been only been gone roughly a week and she remembered nothing from before being sent back. With no way to get back to Hisui they were now left to accumulate into Sinnoh with an overly worried girlfriend they apparently had left behind.

Laila Faerydae

Ex-Girlfriend? Alive?

Laila proved to very much be the person Juniper claimed as the love of her life. The woman having been with her from her first day being dropped in Hisui, introducing her to life as a Spirit User and even running Clan Faerydae alongside her in it's second year existing after Scylla and Veronica's deaths. Having spent all three years with Laila, the last thing she wanted or expected was to be forcefully taken away from her.

Things have been tough since returning to Sinnoh from Hisui, sure Laila is still alive - but not in the way she would have preferred. Having been hundreds of years since Laila's death as a human, her once partner has spent many years stuck in her Spirit Guardian form. As much as she misses her, theres no real way for her to go back to her anymore. Juniper does their best to make sure that they don't forget her, mostly in the form or writing out details about her and even drawing her. The pain behind loosing Laila only worsens with how much Estella manages to remind them of Laila sometimes.

Estella Hinata

Girlfriend? Alive

Uponintially meeting Estella, Juniper found her a bit annoying. The woman was simply just a task she had been assigned and each of her irritating quirks were something she was just going to have to deal with. Though as time went on it seemed that Juniper came to realize that bimbo's were appearently her type. As they grew closer, Juniper grew to love their girlfriend, would have even died or kill for her if she needed to.

Since coming back from Hisui, Juniper seems to be right back at square one. Once again finding her annoying to be around and overall leaving her quite unimpressed. Though yet again she finds theirself in Estella's presence on Pandora's orders. Though unlike their first meeting, Juniper is a lot more cold towards her now - something thats clear Estella has picked up on.

Yuna Hinata

Friend Alive

Upon meeting Yuna, Juniper made the very quick dececision to simply steal Estella's sister right from under her nose. Juniper is incredibly protective of Yuna as if she was her own younger sister and not her girlfriends. Juniper has always been increidbly fond of her and often takes to sending her 'cat' memes whenever she can.

After returning from Hisui the relationship between the two became odd, not as strong as it once was. Most of Junipers memories of Yuna now come from her time from Hisui, the events of the past being fresh in their mind. Though for Yuna, she struggles with recounting things from her time in Hisui. Unable to remember Juniper during their time in Hisui anymore, all her current memories of Juniper are from before she went missing. They still get along and Juniper is still a lot softer with Yuna then she is most people.

Skylar Juliet

Best Friend Alive

Junipers BESTIE, two balls of utter chaos when they were in each others presence. Maybe they committed arson together, maybe not. For them to know and for you to never find out!

Unfortunately since coming back from Hisui, they simply found them annoying due to a lack of remembering them. This leaving a strong indifference towards their once best friend. Despite this they both still play off each other really well and have their moments of getting along.

Juniper had absolutely no issue with Oliver, having simply just been protective of Yuna! For the most part in their singular interaction, Juniper tried her best to ignore him. A simple cold shoulder from her unless he proved to not be a little shit despite Oliver not having done anything to deserve this.

Nothing has changed since returning from Hisui, holding no real like or dislike towards him they feel simply neautral about Oliver and treat him like everybody else she doesn't really know well.

Wyvern Chise

Wyvern has always been teetering in between her friend or just a nuisance. The two found themselves constantly bumping heads between small arguments and bigger confrontations. Though if anyone were to say something unsavory about Wyvern, Juniper would have stood up for them in a heartbeat. Whilst she would unconditionally protect her friend(?) from others, he was fair game for herself. Only she can say such things about him!

Since returning from Hisui; they don't trust him at all and wants nothing to do with him. Having just watch him KILL someone the moment she was sent back to Sinnoh, it hasn't been off to a good start.

Pandora Hart

Pandora was never her favorite person, though she was never their least favourite person either. Part of Juniper felt somewhat greatful to Pandora for being the reason they had met Estella in the first place (even though the context was not the best circumstances). Juniper respects her enough as her boss, though there is no sort of relationship past that.

This remains the same since returning from Hiusui. Juniper doesn't respect her nearly as much as before, as she doesn't remember Pandora in the slightest and shes claiming to be their boss.

Juniper knew she was the boss lady throughout the entire time she was with Team Primal, knew of her when she still lived with her parents actually. Seeing as it was their parents hatred for Team Primal and in extension, Luna that prompted her to join. During their time in Team Primal, on their few interactions Juniper stared at her boobs a lot more than she actually payed any attention to what she was actually saying. Juniper showed more respect to Pandora than Luna, but wasn't outright disrespectful to her actual 'boss', she just knew who was getting shit done persay.

Since Luna died before Juniper got send back to Sinnoh from Hisui, she knows next to nothing about her old boss other than small mentions of her being the founder of Team Primal.

Akari Hinata

Juniper never really liked Akari all that much, especially after Estella had shared how strained of a relationship they had. Juniper always felt very anxious whenever near her, in big part fue to the risk behind if she ever found out about Juniper being in primal. Said anxiety constantly flipped like a switch between that to being anxious about Akari liking her for real. They didn't want to fuck up things with/for Estella, so she tried really hard to be respectful, at least when around Akari.

Since coming back from Hisui, Juniper views Akari very similarly to Pandora, but entirely more disrespectful towards her. This stems heavily off of Akari not being very fond of Juniper to begin with. The longer she's around Akari the obvious this becomes, though Juniper sees no reason to play nice with her now.

Juniper absolutely hated Lula a lot, the admin managing to get on their nerves a lot more than she would have liked. It was an easy job considering Juniper has always been incredibly easy to riled up, so they would consistently get into it if they were near each other for too long.

Since coming back from Hisui this outlook hasn't changed much. Lula is still one to pick a fight and Juniper still has enough of a temper for both of them. Though unfortunately for Lula it's not as quite as fun as before since Juniper seems to not be as easy to pick on anymore - more cold responses as opposed to blatent anger. Though Juniper still finds Lula incredibly annoying,

Juniper felt incredibly estranged from her dad, but could never get herself to fully hate him or hate him as much as she did her mom. He wasn't exactly a bad person, nor did he ever treat her unfairly or wrong; but he also never helped or stood up to her mom, so Juniper had conflicting feelings towards. He did help not make her life a total hellscape at home, which she appreciated but it didn't make up enough good to outweigh the bad.

When they found out about his passing, she felt.. sad about it. At least, they think they did. She wasn't okay with it, but didn't properly grieve over him either. It left her with an empty feeling.

Since coming back form Hisui, Juniper has no memory of her father.

Juniper's mother is the most hated person in her life. Absolutely loathes her as she put a lot of things on Juniper's shoulders, pushing her to do a lot of things she simply did not want to do. Eventually it even escelated to trying to pressure her into taking over Team Rocket when she was old enough. Unfortunately, nothing was ever really good enough for her mom, so it was constant back-and-forths between the two of them. She was never the most pleasant to be around, whether that was just verbal abuse or physical.

Since coming back form Hisui, Juniper has no memory of their mother.

Mystical is one of the more unique stories out of all of Juniper's Pokémon. Having been a Shiny Eevee that had been stolen by Team Rocket at a young age before being promptly gifted to the child of Team Rocket’s leaders, Mystical is Juniper’s first Pokémon. After becoming Veilstone City’s Gym Leader - Mystical was the only Pokémon already in their possession that she turned into a Delta Pokémon as well as the only Delta who had been on their gym teams. Juniper adores Mystical the most, seeing as they were her real starter and has been with them the longest. They both complement each other nicely when it comes to personality, and have the best coordination with one another.

Nyx was a Hisuian Zorua that Juniper had received from a fossil the same day she got sucked into the Veilstone Time Distortion. Having been a gift from Estella after catching wind of Juniper’s heavy interest in the Hisuian form. Sweet little baby, they somehow easily made their way to a similar spot as Mystical, both Pokémon stand side-by-side as Juniper’s Ace. She cares about Nyx just as much as Mystical, both of them are her babies.

Having been in Hoenn for about a year at this point, Juniper did manage to get another Pokémon in Sinnoh that hadn’t been stolen from the professor. This came in the form of a Trapinch they named Lanayru. The oldest of the entire team, Lanayru tends to baby them a lot and makes sure to care for them, as the rest of the team usually follows in Juniper’s recklessness. Juniper definitely appreciates the care from the Flygon and holds her in high regard.

After running away from home at the age of thirteen, During their brief time in Hoenn, Juniper had stolen sanders (a shiny Torchic) from the professor alongside a Blazikenite from the Littleroot Town. Took a bit of time for Sanders and Juniper to get along, given that he was stolen from the professor. Sanders knew very well that Juniper wasn’t supposed to have them, so it took a very long while for them to actually get along. That wound up being why he remained a lower-level for such a long time. After a small incident consisting of someone attempting to steal sanders from her after another fight between them is what ultimately pushed them to start working together. They don’t exactly hold any love or care for one another like Juniper does with most of her team, or at least it’s not shown between the two. They work together well when it comes to battling; he tends to be taken out in when she thats getting upset as a way to do some hard-hitting

Valkyria was one of the Pokémon Juniper received after becoming Veilstone’s Gym Leader. Akari had been a little miffed that they didn’t want a Dark Type for her gym team, but Estella didn’t allow any room for Akari to complain and thus Juniper received Valkyria with little to no issue. Valkyria is a up tight, full of herself prick, almost acting like royalty. She can be rather spiteful at times, has been caught setting someone's ass on fire because they said or did something she didn't like. She would rather sit and watch someone suffer trying to do something for her, than to do it herself or help. With Juniper her attitude takes a 180, where she becomes rather possessive of her and actually treats her nice. For the most part, that cat like attitude does pop up every so often. Juniper has to be careful having her out as that possessive nature turns into aggression to others if they take Juniper's attention away from her.

Catching this Zygarde was an interesting ordeal. After Juniper was pulled into an out-of-control supposed “space-time distortion” and forcefully dragged back to where they had come from & having been dropped in the middle of a supposed Team Primal mission. Juniper irrupted Wyvern's attempt to capture the legendary and captured it instead.
