Juro would be crushed if he found out the only reason he's still a detective is because 1. He's great at solving cases, and 2. The agency needs to fill a dreadnaut quota, for diversity sake. Besides that? Literally anyone could replace him. Juro is incredibly cowardly, and a huge crybaby, shedding more tears than the usual child. Before he became a detective, he was slightly less cowardly, becoming more of a shill over time in his career. He means well, and is a good person through and through, just don't rely on him to take a bullet for you.
If the lion from the wizard of oz was a person, Juro would be him. Cowardly and Shy, he tries his best to put on his best attempt at confidence and bravery, only to fail horribly. He's a good person through and through, no doubt about it, actually being dedicated to his job, it's just his demeanor that brings him down. Incredibly squeamish, Juro ends up more often than not, running away from the crime scene than towards, he's just that scared. On top of all that, he's a crybaby, nobody knows why this is, though.
Found on the shore, like nauts usually are, Juro was taken into an orphanage. The "ears" on his head were pronounced some sort of condition by the unknowing caretakers. Since his "birth" Juro has always been a bit shy, but found himself standing up for his friends whenever he could, his sense of justice triumphed over his demeanor. One day, the orphanage was attacked by unkonwn forces, Juro in his "teen" form tried his best to protect the others, only managing enough to get the other kids out, as for the caretakers, they told him not to be a hero, and shoved him into a compartment under the floorboards. When he finally got out, he was alone, scared, and it was storming. The orphanage had been raided, and the other orphans had fled. Juro took a moment to sob, before wiping his eyes and swearing to find out who had done this, tearfully walking past the bodies of those he'd call "parents".
