About
Personality
Motherly . Petty . Generous . Insecure

Cloudpool overall is a very friendly cat unless you wrong her in the smallest of ways. She has a soft heart for younger cats, especially ones who never had a great relationship with their parents. On the flip side she can get very petty when it comes to small things that involve close ones around her, such as disciplining when there’s no need or someone simply accidentally shoving her. When it comes to trying to change her mind on something after she’s set in stone, it’s often very difficult to change her mind. Although it is possible, but it does require a lot of convincing. One of the main reasons she keeps her pelt kept clean is because she’s insecure of herself. This has been caused from a certain cat in her past and she hasn’t gotten over it quite yet. She tends to think she had done something wrong or said something wrong when she didn’t. This is also why she thinks highly of her looks, she feels she has to be in tip-top shape for anyone to genuinely like her.

Story

𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄: An average sized lilac bi-color point she-cat with icy blue eyes. Cloudpool has rather fluffy fur with a long tail that’s quite large with fluff. She has a pale pink button like nose. The base of her coat is a light cream color with a white under belly and face marking. She has a large cape-like marking on her back that’s the color of a brown-ish lilac while her legs have darker variations of that color before her white paws. Her appearance is always nice and clean seeing as she dislikes being dirty for too long. She also has a bluejay feather tucked into some fur at the base of her tail. 𝐇𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘: Cloudkit was born into a litter of two other kits, Brightkit and Fawnkit. Her mother and father were fine warriors of BrookClan, Snakebreeze and Stormeye. During her time within the nursery Cloudpool can’t remember anything other than the sheer amount of love her parents gave her and her sisters. Watching her mother, Snakebreeze, as she grew up, something within her began to grow fuzzy and warm. Just the way her mother treated her and her sisters made her want to grow up and eventually become a mother one day. Only a moon after her and her sister’s were born, Her parents had taken in an orphaned kit name Frostkit. CloudKit had always been curious about him and attempted to treat her like her siblings but nothing would really blossom between the siblings until their apprenticeship. It wasn’t long before Cloudkit’s apprenticeship arrived, soon granting her the name Cloudpaw. This is when her and her adopted brother seemed to get along much better, despite his more distant personality. She attempted to help him fit in and eventually had a decently close bond with him. During her apprenticeship, she met another apprentice that was about a couple moons older than her. His name was Troutpaw and he was about 4 moons older than her. They instantly hit it off. They eventually started hunting together, training together and even sneaking off in the middle of the night to rip and run around and see the stars. It wasn’t long before the two apprentices gained a crush on each other. But it had ended just as it had started as Troutpaw had his warrior ceremony and gained the name Troutfur. Cloudpaw was of course very proud for him but she couldn’t help but feel a little upset. Their small bloom had been pulled apart like a weed in a garden. As time went on, Cloudpaw tried distracting herself with her training with her sisters in prep for their assessment. During this, she would catch small glimpses of Troutfur glancing her way. This put a little hope into Cloudpaw’s heart. Maybe he still liked her and they could be together once she becomes a warrior. And that time finally arrived as Brightpaw, Fawnpaw, and Cloudpaw revived their warrior names and became Brightclaw, Fawnstep, and Cloudpool. Cloudpool was ecstatic that she was finally a warrior. Troutfur, Snakebreeze, and Stormeye were the first to congratulate her in her achievement. Cloudpool was an excellent warrior and it didn’t take long for Troutfur to begin talking with her again. It felt like they were apprentices all over again with how close they were and it wasn’t only but a few moons later that she was with his kits. That’s when she noticed a change in Troutfur. He began to become more distant and cold, as if he didn’t want to be around her anymore and when she had went to join the nursery it became even worse. He wouldn’t come by to see her or even drop off any prey. She was flabbergasted at this, it was such a sudden change that she didn’t expect it. She met another queen within the den that she seemed to some how get along with while trying to not worry about Troutfur. Her name was Regalrose and had recently given birth to her son Regalkit. Cloudpool was a little confused on why the queen would name her kit after her but never questioned it. They became very close within the walls of the nursery. That’s when Cloudpool noticed Troutfur hanging out with one of the newer warriors that had just been named. Her name was Petalwind. She was a long, silky furred dilute tortie. She seemed much prettier than Cloudpool so she began to feel a little insecure about herself. Only about a moon or two before something seemed to go wrong with her pregnancy. She had a miscarriage and none of the kits had made it even though they were almost ready to be born. Cloudpool was heartbroken and Troutfur didn’t care at all. He was busy with Petalwind out in the clearing. Cloudpool stayed within the nursery while she grieved and Regalrose, not long after her miscarriage, had succumbed to the river and never made it back alive. With so much grieve, the small chatter box of a kit was wondering why his mother hadn’t returned. Regalkit, Regalrose’s son, was too younger to understand the death of his mother. The maternal instinct within Cloudpool after she had lost her kits grew once she noticed how desperate the kit was. So she took him in. She became his adoptive mother and nursed him until he was ready to eat fresh kill. She grew attached to the spicy fur ball despite his lack of manners from not having a good mother figure other than her. During her time raising Regalkit, Fawnstep and Brightclaw would come and visit her often. The two sisters caught spoiling the small kit before slowly drifting away. Brightclaw had came up with a sickness that caused her to eventually find her final peace within the medicine cat den. Fawnstep was devistated and soon left to join the life of a kitty pet and no longer stress the life of a warrior. Cloudpool and her parents did respect her decision but would miss her none the less. Cloudpool’s heart still aches from the sudden loss of her future kits and her mate that seemed to move on and it only worsened when Petalwind seemed with kits as well as Troutfur announced he was leaving with her to try and find a better home for them and their future family past the moorlands and in the unknown. Cloudpool was absolutely heartbroken at this. Her old mate had moved on and was having kits with another she-cat when she was with his kits. As if he never cared about their loss and never really wanted to be with her. She tried to hide this from Regalkit so he wouldn’t be affected by her large amount of grief. A couple moons had passed and Regalkit was so close to becoming an apprentice, her parents fell sick with a bad case of Green-cough and were too weak to recover and both passed away with each other. This began to shatter Cloudpool to her weakest. she had lost practically everyone she loved and there’s nothing she could do. Though the unaware tom-kit seemed to cheer her up with his excitement to become an apprentice. She slowly began to move on, puting everything behind her for the sake of the small Regalkit. Maybe in the future she could fully move on from Troutfur and possibly try once again to be the mother she’s always wanted to be from since she was a small kit.

Relationships
Snakebreeze | Mother

"I wasn't as close to her as I was my father but either way I cared for her deeply. She was my mother after all. The one who gave me life and taught me how to thrive. I'll never forget the day that she had taken in Forstbite, as if it was a blessing from StarClan."

Stormeye | Father

"I loved him dearly. He was my father, the one who took close to me and protected me from harsh teachings. I'll always look up to him and I hope to eventually see him with the rest of my family in StarClan in the future. He taught me how to hunt and fight outside of my mentor's training lessons."

Fawnstep | Sister

"Fawnstep was one of my beloved sisters and I loved them more than life itself. I can understand why Fawnstep chose to leave, losing almost all of our family was hard to get through and not everyone is able to withstand it. She'll always be my sister no matter the distance."

Brightclaw | Sister

"Brightclaw was my second sister. She was more outgoing and loved to train despite Fawnstep and I always trying to make friends. She had a lot of our father's skills and frame, making her more muscular than us. I could never complain though, she was as sweet as could be. I do miss her though. StarClan just decided that her fate was with them as well as our parents. I'm sure their proud of me."

Frostbite | Adopted Brother

"At first I thought he was a little odd from when we were kits. I still tried to play with him either way but he wasn't like our sisters. They thought he was weird and didn't ever seem to want to talk to him until we were warriors. I appreicate how protective he is over me and I understand that he doesn't want another situation happening like how it did with Troutfur. He's sometimes still a little werido but I love him for it."

Rotthroat | Uncle

"I met him when I was a little older as a kit. Never knew we were related until he had told me. I has baffled at first, that such a grumpy tom was related to our chipper family. I didn't judge him either way and tried my best to spend as much time with him as I could."

Regalspirit | Adopted Son

"When I first took him in, I thought he was the most precious thing in the world. Maybe that's why he got away with being so rotten all the time, I was a new mother afterall. Sometimes I wish it had been different though. Maybe I could have been a little harsher or sterner but I guess it's too late for that. I can only hope that his attitude will only change in the future if he wants to be able to kee that relationship with Eveningrain at least."

"I always thought that he was at least a little adorable while we were apprentices but Troutfur had already had me wrapped around his finger. He gets strangely nervous around me to the point it confuses me. Did I do something to make him seem so scared? I'm not too sure but I want to try and make things right between us."

Garterkit | Son

"I love him to pieces but I can't help but notice he's a lot like his older brother. Maybe Regalspirit will get a taste of his own medicine one day."

Hazelkit | Daughter

"I adore how she has her father's fur, it's absolutetly adorable. Fuzzy wanted to name her after his mother so there's no way I could refuse."

Gentlekit | Daughter

"She reminds me a lot of my aunt, Gentlefawn, hence her name. She isn't as rowdy like her brothers which brings me some peace knowing I have such a well mannered daughter."

Eelkit | Son

"Eelkit is quite the charmer. He prolly took after his dad. It's adorable how he watches us when we're together, it's like he's trying to figure out Fuzzyfreckle's ways."
