Glitched...
Not too long in the past, Chaos was a regular tabby cat and his name was not Chaos. Well, he was as regular as a wealthy man could be.
Whether by an experiment, a freak accident, or some ungodly supernatural power, he gained an unprecedented amount of power, manifesting in the form of video glitches. The power could almost be described as godly, for the brief amount of time it lasted. His body could not handle it all at once, and it surged out unto others who were around to witness what had happened.
It seems now, he is hellbent on "reclaiming" that power from those who oppose him. He allows the ones who 'follow' him to keep it, however...
Before the Surge
Before becoming some sort of glitch-powered beast, he was a relatively uninteresting, but shitty, rich guy. He had many unfaithful relationships with many girls, squandered his money on garbage luxuries, and otherwise was just terrible to the people around him.
The Surge
The source of the Surge is unknown. What it was is also a mystery, and why it chose to channel itself through Chaos before spreading among many people is lso hard to say.
What is fairly obvious, is that Chaos feels entitled to that power. Very, very entitled to it. He sends lackeys after anyone who has it and has not bowed to him alone.
