Part-Time Employee at Pretty Paws, Cam is a shy and quiet individual during work, he often keeps to himself but will be cordial when needed. Much preferring to chat with the dogs and cats that come through the shop, Cam has a hard time reading people's emotions in comparison to animals.
At first, taking photos for the shop's social media page was just a side hobby but Cameron fell in love with photography soon after! On his off days Cam will get all dressed up to venture out and find things to photograph.

Due to their anti-social nature, Cameron speaks matter of factly to avoid unnecessary conflict or confusion. Cam absolutely hates physical touch especially from strangers.He usually avoids speaking unless spoken to.
If it weren't for his hobby, Cameron would be a hermit outside of work obligations. Instead, he bumped into the absolute terror that is Rhys. Admittedly, he was captivated by his beauty but he would never give him the satifaction of admitting it.

Marlings are a rare alien species born from special meteorites. What makes Marling's especially unique is composition of their skin and fur, which is made up of various metals and minerals that are foreign to Earth.
Though some Marlings do have the ability to speak verbally to some degree, their vocal cords aren't as developed as most other humanoids on Earth so many find it difficult, exhausting, or even painful trying to communicate that way for long periods of time. Therefore, most Marlings are non-verbal and prefer communicate in sign language.
The Guy That Won't Take a Hint
Rhys is the owner of Cam's favorite customer, the cutest pomeranian on earth. While Cam knows it's just an excuse Rhys uses to slack off work and visit Cam during the day he can't complain too much. Rhys often draws unwanted attention from passersby but that's easily remedied by how protective Rhys is over Cam's comfort, shooing them away without hesitation.
