The 'keeper' of the coven, and it's de facto leader. She always carries herself with a quiet, elegant grace and unspoken strength that keeps the coven in line. She spends most of her time locked away in the coven's library, which she seemingly protects with her life. She seems to struggle the most with the changing times and always seems a little out of place with her appearance and mannerisms.
Candle acts as an archivist to all the information the coven has collected.
The Coven
Her coven is tasked as keepers of all known information and knowledge collected by witches over many, many centuaries. They all have their own unique approach to maintaining and sharing this information. Candle acts as both a protector and a curator to all information the witches have, dating back many generations. There are even some she keeps locked away from all prying eyes, her own included..
Spade
Along with the rest of her coven, Wayfare helped raise a human baby that was 'left in their care.' Although they weren't expecting these circumstances, they all stepped in to become his mothers together. Candle does her best to act as a guiding light in Spade's life, and she always as seen the best within him. She may not always agree with his choices, but she does support him through anything and everything.
Candle was at first very opposed to sending Spade out on frivolous missions like her coven sisters, but strangely as warmed up to it as time passes. However, she very rarely ever sends him out herself, making the rare times she does feel even more important.
Her adopted son. She sees something within him even his other mothers do not, and wants the best for him. She is the most strict with him, but there is a warmth and care behind it.
Her familiar. She is equally wise and knows nearly as much about the library's arrangement as her master. Tends to act as Candle's eyes and ears, and moves as quiet as the night.
Coven sister. She's often very unamused by her antics, but doesn't give her the satisfaction of showing it. Regardless, she does have a respect for the work she does.
Coven sister. She will listen to her stories for exactly as long as she needs to, and not a second longer. She is very good at slipping away from Mirror's grasp.
Coven sister. It's clear she has a strong respect for Inkwell and often entrusts her with keeping the coven from falling apart while she's away.
