About: Sol was born with poor sight, which gradually got worse with age until he eventually became blind. His sight is limited to lights and shadows, everything else is incredibly muddled. He isn't particularly unhappy due to his disability though, and manages to live a pretty simple life. He has a particular love for sunflowers, due to how large sunflower fields can be, he can usually make out the blur of yellow, and he finds the mild smell pleasant without being overwhelming.
He's a bit soft spoken, but he's also blunt and not afraid to point out if he finds something to be wrong. He finds simple things in life to be pleasant, like the softness of a blanket, the heat from a cup of hot chocolate, the fluffiness of Jolly's fur and the warmth of other peoples hands. The sound of people idly chatting, playing music and laughter, the sound of a fire crackling and the cold breeze of the night sky, it all gives him great comfort and feels very grateful for it all.
Sol is extroverted, finding peoples company to be more than enough to charge him back after a rough day. He loves baking, so he often bakes desserts to close ones to hear their joyful reactions, their joy gives him far more joy than he could explain. However, as time passes he notices that the people he loves and cares for gradually starts to unexplainably leave him, until there's barely nobody left but Miyuki, a presence that's been more and more frequent in his life as of late. He trusts Miyuki, and finds his company pleasant, despite his somewhat odd behaviors and how his very well behaved guide dog would sometimes growl at him if he got a bit too close, or if he was lingering around him for a bit too long. Sol finds Miyuki to be just a tad bit strange, but rules it off due to how lonely he's become... plus, his strangeness is somewhat charming, so it isn't like he minds it all that much.
