About:
Kahina is the head of the guards of the unicorns heard ruled by the queen-sisters Mendora and Sunniva, a position she gained through hard work and exceptional skill.
Thanks to her ambidexterity and flexible tentacles, she is an excellent fighter who favours swords. Yet even unarmed she is nobody who should be underestimated, although she usually carries hidden daggers with her.
While she takes her duties as the herd's head of guards very seriously, she also makes sure to have time and space for personal pleasures.
Her approach to leadership is very pragmatic and she is not someone who keeps herself restrained by tradition or convention. Of course rules and laws a necessary for any social fabric, but that doesn't mean she has to be disconnected and distant to everyone. She quite enjoys having harmless and silly fun with Nanami just as much as sparring with anyone who likes to challenge her. Much like Nanami, she isn't too keen on fair fights outside of exhibition bouts. She will do whatever it takes to win and survive, though as long as she can she will do her best to avoid involving innocent people.

She also has a scorpion companion named Teddy the SnuggleScorpion. He is a happy little bringer of painful death and she spoils him very much.

History:
Kahina grew up in a nomadic tribe as the only one of her species, having been adopted by the tribe at an early age. Adoption was a common practise there to keep the population number stable and to get fresh blood. As she was growing up, Kahina not only earned herself the respect of her fellow clansmen and the nickname "The Jeweled Scorpion", but she also became leader. She was well aware the tribe was considered to be nothing but just another gang of bandits by travelling merchants and settlers, but she knew how to maintain a careful balance between raiding too much too often and keeping her people supplied and well.
But over time, she became too careless and underestimated a growing dissatisfaction among her people. It was driven by a power-hungry individual who claimed Kahina's position would not be in tune with tradition and a dishonour of the tribe, since she was not the offspring of the clan, but an outsider by blood. Additionally, why did they have to hold themselves back during the raids, why couldn't they just take everything whenever they pleased?
Kahina was aware of these rumours and doubts, but discarded them as being ridiculous. She underestimated how this poison spread and infected the mind of her people more and more. she only noticed her mistake when it was too late and the coup was already staged. Unwilling to fight against her own people, Kahina surrendered and was outcast.

She travelled alone for a while until she encountered the heard of the two queens. Her reputation and skill allowed her to climb the ranks among the herd. Now she is the head of the guard.

She is a Sea Horse Unicorn (Unicorns with tentacles instead  of hair/floof) and based off a  scorpion/Scorpio. She features jewels, gold plating, and hematite  (including her horn).
