WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE
Used to be partners in crime with his significant other, a lady of light by the name of Magnolia. While he did the heavy work such as fighting or breaking into buildings, she would work as bait using her feminine charms or act as backup. The two were a formidable duo, able to cover up scenes and make sure their faces were never seen. Especially since they would often put their target down in the end- while witnesses were knocked out cold enough to have them ablur. This couple’s run went on for years on end and their mysterious yet growing reputation had since ascended to the boards. Zenith believed he and Magnolia would keep up this life of crime together until death do them part. However, he did not realize that this love had always been secretly one-sided until it was too late.
By that time, Magnolia had ratted him out for a large lump of cash in exchange; successfully covering up her tracks but not his. While the second partner in crime remained a mystery to the public, Zenith was the only one left exposed and arrested for their crimes. Distraught by this betrayal, he allowed himself to either rot within the prison walls or be sentenced to death. Nothing seemed to matter anymore, nothing at all. It seemed as though his emptiness would consume him as time passed. However, wherever emptiness lingered, a spark of his fighting spirit began to grow. The spirit to fight back, and decide his own fate.
A CREW
Having broken himself out of jail, Zenith made a name for himself from then on. Running solo with a bounty on his head and taking down anyone who got in the way of what he wanted. While the painful betrayal would continue to linger forevermore, it wasn’t going to be the end of this man. In fact, it was going to bring out the best and worst in him.
Although, this notorious criminal certainly wasn’t expecting to attract curious attention of other shadowlings. Before long, most of them had proven their admiration and/or loyalty, contributing their abilities and forming a whole crew. Perhaps fate wasn’t going to let him decide everything on his own…
Part of the crew as a dealer. They're either in Zenith's pocket or someone else's. Very charming and tiny, just a little creature. Who could ever resist 'em? Not many, which is taken to the team's advantage.
Part of the crew as a healer. Very strong admiration and love for Zenith, though it leads to excessive obsession and possessiveness. Still, their medical care is a valuable asset to the team.
Part of the crew as a... Dealer/pet? He's useful for the battlefield, to say the least, being immortal. Although he's a bit of a troublemaker too, Zenith doesn't mind it as long as they listen to him.
An unorthodox gun for hire who takes jobs by commission only. He’s taken to traveling with Zenith purely because there’s never a dull day around him. Even with all the chaotic troublemakers, he’d be a hell of a lot more bored without ‘em.
A detective that's onto Zenith, always trying to make sure they doesn't lose track of this criminal. Unfortunately they came face to face on accident one day, so now he knows...
A bounty hunter that's targeted Zenith but has failed to take his head. It was supposed to be another straightforward claim, but something about this criminal caught him offguard.
