Ume is part of the same fun-dipper Group Sakura is. She tends to follow Sakura around at school but always loses him and finds him beat up later. She loves cramped spaces and cooking.
She is soft spoken but she has little patience and often blows up at Sakura and may throw an object or two.
She used to be bullied but Sakura stepped in and they switched over to him instead of her. She has always felt guilty and tries to make it up to him.
