Emily is a very laid-back and understanding person. She's friends with Ann and often hang out together around town. She's confident and secure in her identity, and that part of her journey has ended long ago.
She has a naturally sisterly personality, simply by virtue of usually being the first to jump to help out those she sees in need. She works at Oaktree Flowers, and spends more time than you'd think just being out by herself. She gets around on her bike, often going where she feels when she feels like it. This somewhat mysterious side of her often causes others to project, which isn't lost on Emily and makes her more than a little uncomfortable.
She lives alone, and lately has been going a little stir-crazy. Her friends recognize that she's reliable, but she often doesn't know how to reach out for help when she needs it. Although she's made peace with her past, she sometimes struggles to talk about it unless she's very comfortable bringing it up. In some key ways, she's fairly aloof. She sees a part of herself in Mi, feeling different when helping them through something than when helping others.
Emily finds the Planet's Tears very interesting. What caused them to appear exactly? They can create such beautiful views, but she can't help but feel they're not here for good reason...
After the destruction of Ann's apartment, Emily offers Ann and Mi to come stay with her until they're back on their feet. After meeting, Mi experiences frequent instances of gender envy of Emily, and they begin seeing her in their dreams as a source of strong comfort. To Mi, Emily fills in the long empty role of an older sister figure, resulting in confusing feelings that are difficult for Mi to explore alone.
Emily's effect on Mi often causes Mi to involuntarily manifest fake Emilys in times of desperation- often to just deliver something they want to hear, then disappear. Emily does not have any naturally strong connection to Creation, but her kindness brings her closer than many others. The strength she allows Mi to find in themselves allows them to further control their own connection to Creation and channel it in more meaningful and intentional ways.
