Trivia

• orion's quite lonely!! he loves to run around, play, and dance, but he's often got no one to do it with. he only encounters his friends every once in a while (the forest is very expansive), so most of his time is spent alone.
• having lived most of his life without other humans, orion can't speak very well. he learned from following people who venture into the forest, listening closely in order to figure out their language. when he does talk, his sentences are often quite broken or simple. but, he will understand you (for the most part) if you engage in a conversation with him!
• also, since orion basically grew up alone, he acts quite childish despite his age.
• he "met" a small stone statue of a human hidden in a bush one day, and orion returns to it everyday to say hello. he pretends as though the statue can talk back and he acts as its voice.
• orion is often hunted by illegal poachers, as his horns are made of ivory (a material that can be sold for a high price on the black market). during his first encounter with a poacher, orion believed that they were a new friend that wanted to play hide and seek with him.
• orion doesn't know what meat actually is. he's had a bite before, but was immediately repulsed due to its odd smell and foul taste.

Design notes

• his hair has some yellow streaks in it!!
• the jacket he's wearing is slightly transparent
• he can be drawn with hooves instead of feet + deer-ish legs instead of human legs
• his nose can be human or deer-like
