Eli

Backstory

Born from an Enlightened Tiefling mother (Tessa) and a Treaturous Tiefling father (Erris), who paraded as a fellow Enlightened. Eli was born out of wedlock, and upon realizing that their relationship was built on lies, their relationship was incredibly strained. They had no intention of having children and raised their son very poorly. When he was 11, they had another child named Merris, a direct opposite of his older brother. Eli ended up becoming his parental figure and was very protective of him. Both parents were verbally abusive due to his habits of theft and trickery, and at the age of 15, he began life on his own. He lived on the streets of Meletis as he manipulated and scammed his way into making a living wage. He moved around a lot, as he made enemies nearly wherever he went. He often had to escape authorities as well as powerful figures. He never stays in one place for very long, but always writes to Merris.
