Ophelia

Ophelia is an elegant young woman with a regal bearing. Her dark brown skin is dusted with freckles, particularly across her face and shoulders. Her eyes are gold and she always has flawless eyeliner. Her long, raven black hair has a streak of white accenting it, located on the right side of her face.

There is a divide within Ophelia. Most of the time, all that is seen of her is the jewel of the court, the only daughter of the royal family. Stoic, quiet, seen but never heard. This version of the princess is perfect for what she is meant to do in court. When she is alone, though, or with her close friends, Ophelia is a sparkling, witty person. She is very intelligent and loves to debate. Ophelia chases learning and dreams of something beyond the palace walls. She is also bold, defiant, and determined to do anything she sets her mind to.

Ophelia was born the only daughter of an aging king and queen. She had four older brothers, so the pressure was off of her crown-wise, but her parents were very protective. The only person she got even a little close to was Eislyn, the daughter of one of Ophelia's mother's ladies-in-waiting. They didn't see each other often due to Eislyn's parents being divorced, so Ophelia turned to books for companionship. She also discovered when she was about tweleve that she could communicate with ghosts. This ability grew stronger as she aged and she was able to put several spirits to rest.
