About:  

Sprout is Angel's little apprentice who's learning about herbal magic, herbology and elixir crafting under the unicorn guidance. They're very talented despite being a bit clumsy and not being able to fully control their powers, but they're enthusiast and doesn't want to give up, believing that they can achieve their goal and be as good as Angel is when it comes to magic.

They come from a place named Sunlight Village, in which chlorokinesis is a quite common ability, but magic is not very well known, resulting in the little goat having to depart to find someone who could instruct them in their path of learning to control their magical abilities. 

Personality: 

Sprout is an enthusiast goat who's always eager to try and learn new things, they have a cheerful demeanor and gets excited about things quite easy, showing how optimistic they can be even in the darkest moments... or when they're too nervous to even move from their spot. They're very gentle when it comes to treating others, being kind in nature and soft in their gestures, helping anyone who needs it and providing support or a shoulder to cry on; they like to treat everyone with kindness regardless of who they are.

Of a curious spirit, Sprout is always up to read, research and investigate about anything that catches their attention, having a great passion for finding the answers to the questions and mysteries they encounter in their path, becoming persistent and not giving up easily on what they have set on mind... as long as it doesn't involve an adventure, as they're not an adventurous person, they prefer to settle in just one place and have a chill life.

They're cautious and always prefer to play safe, being really mindful about others' wellbeing and their own, trying to keep others away from danger or from doing harmful things. Despite this, they're very clumsy, resulting in them getting hurt pretty often, dropping things or even making things explode with their magic by accident, which is why they do their best to be as careful as they can... even if it doesn't work.

They have a lot of experience with bad luck, accidents and pain, which is why they're so protective with others, becoming brave whenever there's a threat and doing anything on their hands in order to protect those that they care about, even if that means facing their own fears or going beyond their physical limitations. 

Abilities:

-Plants manipulation: They have the ability of control and grow plants at their will, nevertheless, they still have troubles controlling said ability, which is one of the reasons why they're learning from Angel.

-Floating: They're very light and can float in high heights without problems when there are strong winds thanks to their ears. When there's no wind they can float just a bit above the ground.

-General magic: Aside from controlling plants, they're learning to perform basic magic. They have potential! But they're still on it. Making things move, transform them or even appear are some of the acts they're practicing with Angel.

-Vines protection: They're not able to do it on command, but when they're scared, they're able to summon a group of vines between them and the danger that will form a shield to protect themselves. Later on, they'll realize they can use said vines to attack enemies or even trap them.

Weaknesses:

-High temperatures: The higher the temperature, the less their magic can work. Any plant they create under these conditions will wither almost instantly. That's if they can make it grow in the first place. Atop of it, high temperatures make them feel overwhelmed and tired, without energy to do anything.

-Naivety: Sometimes they're too naïve and can be easily manipulable by other people, which can make them get in troubles or even in danger.

Likes:

-Flowers, they consider them pretty. It doesn't matter the color of the type, they love all of them.

-Herbal teas, it's what they drink the most.

-Books, there's nothing more relaxing for them than sitting and reading a good book while drinking a cup of tea and listening to the rain outside.

-Magic, it's one of their favorite activities! Whether it is preparing the potions along with Angel or practicing herbal magic on their own, it's something they really enjoy.

-Helping Angel in his stall, selling fruits and vegetables along him.

-Fishing, although they catch the fishes using their magic.

-Cozy sweaters and clothes, they think they're very soft and comfortable.

-Quiet places, they help them to stay calm and just enjoy their surrounding in peace. Bonus points if said place has a fireplace, plants or if it has a library.

-Classifying and organizing potion ingredients. They find it entertaining, as well as preparing said ingredients. Sitting down to clean their herbs, preparing the extracts, etc. is something they really enjoy.

Dislikes:

-Hot weather, it makes them tired and affects their powers.

-Bugs and insects, they make them uncomfortable, especially if they fly nearby them or if they buzz near their ears.

-People using chemicals on plants, they know how harmful that can be.

-Milk, they can't stand the taste.

-Loud noises, their ears are quite sensitive to them. If the sound is too strong, it can even make them dizzy.

-Strong and artificial smells, they gross them out. They prefer soft smells or natural ones.

-Storms, especially those on Windmill Village. They can be so dangerous and strong that make Sprout feel worried about it.

-Maggots, they can't stand them, they consider them really gross and gives them the creeps.

-Necromancers and dark magic users, they're horribly scared of them.

-Eggman, anyone who harms nature in the way he does can't be a good person at all.

Extra:

-The small herb ball that hangs from their hat is detachable, they can take it and it'll grow trice its size, allowing them to throw it with different purposes; bombs to explode enemies or smoke bombs to blind them or escape dangerous situations.

-Their fluffy ears act like some sort of wings, allowing them to float with the wind.

-They have a staff that they use during their magic training to canalize their magic. But they want to learn to use their magic without it.

-Sprout is not someone who has lots of money, so all the clothes they get are from the thrift store, but they don't mind, as worn-out clothes tend to be softer and they like that.

-They know how to sew and knit, so whenever they need to fix their own clothes they can do it, reason of why their clothes tend to have patches on them.

-They tend to knit stuff for their chao, whether it is little scarves, socks, mittens or even hats. They like to make sure that their little chao is warm.

-None of the potions they brew during Angel's classes are sold, instead, they take the ones that work and gift them to people. And those that don't work well... Angel says that he takes care of them, but Sprout doesn't know what Angel does with those.

-Despite coming from a village where technology is an everyday thing, Sprout doesn't know much about it, they're not tech savvy at all.

-They don't know that Angel had a relationship with Eggman when he was Tinker, all they know is that the unicorn was in a long relationship that ended "badly" because his loved one "betrayed him"... or at least, that's what they have been told by Elder Scruffy. 

Relationships: 

Angel the Unicorn: 

Angel and Sprout get along quite well, Sprout always listens to Angel and follows every instruction he gives them, making sure to be respectful with him too. They look up to Angel, really admiring his abilities and how well and easily Angel performs any magic activity, wanting to be just like him. Meanwhile, Angel is kind and patient with Sprout, making sure that the little goat has their own time to learn what they're doing and gently explaining anything Sprout doesn't understand, allowing them to make mistakes and just encouraging them to keep going.

For being his second student, Angel is very thankful that Sprout is so polite and willing to learn and be patient with the process, as well as having actual good intentions with their abilities, not like Flask.

Admittedly, Angel had lost any hope or energy to do anything after the issue with the Metal Virus and Belle getting exiled from the village, but meeting Sprout and becoming their mentor gave him a reason to keep going. Both of them meet each day from early hours to take care of Angel's garden, to then create the elixirs that Angels sells and finalizing the day practicing magic.

Leaf the Chao:

Leaf is Sprout's chao companion. They're always seen together as Leaf follows Sprout wherever they go. Leaf is still a baby, meaning that Sprout has ton constantly take care of Leaf and make sure that nothing bad happens to them, but Sprout doesn't mind, as Leaf is precious to them and can't imagine their life without their little chao.

Leaf is very gentle, but at the same time is really shy and easy to scare, reason why Sprout can be really protective with Leaf, sometimes acting a bit too over-protective like a mom with her child.
