Une femme amoureuse

Full title is "Une femme amoureuse, une étude"

A painting of a suicidal woman the painter was "in love" (read: idolizing but ignoring all her problems and refusing to be helpful to her) with, that got into an exhibit despite being only a study.

Doesn't have a name of her own, really, but goes by Elle as it's the French female pronoun and her title is in French.

Sometimes she sneaks out of her painting to go mingle with humans, real people who are tangible. It's absolutely intoxicating to her.

Hates having to hold her pose all day now that she's in an exhibit. She thought it'd be cool to be seen but now she just feels weird imitating this lady's obviously ignored cries for help for hundreds of people decades later to see and speculate about and think "how romantic" over. It makes her sick, honestly.

One day she wants to escape her painting for good and destroy the canvas in a fire to honor the woman she was made based on, whose suffering shouldn't be admired in such a sick way.
