otto is a wolpertinger with attributes derived from european hares, roe deer, and eurasian sparrowhawks. he was an intense caver & climber for much of his life, but has retired from that and now does ceramics & writing. he's multilingual - fluent in german and english, and knowing bits of italian, norwegian, spanish, and vietnamese.

in his youth, he travelled the world sporadically, seeking out cool caves and mountains. he also did a good deal of environmentalist work. nowadays, he lives with his husband in the alpine forests of southern germany.

he makes ceramics inspired by the natural world and writes memoirs about his past experiences. he also draws a lot of inspiration from stuff like thunderstorms, constellations, and folklore - anything that interests him. he likes combining his own experiences with the experiences of other people when writing.

he has an intense fondness for the natural world and can't stand being in cities. he enjoys gardening, but isn't very good at it, and usually leaves the caretaking of their garden to his husband.
