About
Though tensions between the Llawes Corporation and the Concerned Citizens border on astronomical, not everyone in Caer Sidi sees the need to pick a side. Indeed, some more opportunistic cityfolk have seen the uptick in activity as a chance to expand their knowledge base -- and, perhaps, their wallets.
Such is the case with Hannelore (last name unknown), owner of the bookshop Mid-Heaven. A shrewd collector of knowledge both in print and under breath, it's said there's nowhere in Caer Sidi safe from Hannelore's vast information network. Regardless of past, affiliation, or reason, anyone with a need-to-know on any scale is likely to seek out her counsel... if they have the cash.
Despite her business-minded nature, Hannelore is staunchly loyal to the confidentiality and safety of her clients. No snitching will be done at Mid-Heaven, thank you; only fair trade of books, information, and legal tinder.

Combat
True to her behind-the-scenes nature, Hannelore doesn't do much fighting. One would advise against underestimating her, however; of course she's prudent enough to have practiced.
Heartless
An Unbleeder is a living weapon created from a recently-deceased human. Shards of metal taken from a fallen star are shaped into horn-like protrusions and inserted into a body after death, granting them ageless immortality and the ability to remove their heart from their chest - and with it, their compassion, allowing them to become unstoppably brutal on the battlefield.
Grimoire
Hannelore's grimoire is, like any other Unbleeder's weapon, perfectly suited to her. Powered by the fallen star's magic, its long-range power is hard to beat.
Personality
Though ultimately kind-hearted, Hannelore is guarded-- appropriately so, she might add, given her job.

She can come across as blunt and distant to some; however, regulars can attest that Hannelore means no offense, and goes above and beyond for her customers.

- Despite being oft-frequented by those with less than savory intentions, Mid-Heaven has several large and open reading areas. It's a perfectly cozy place to spend an afternoon -- or evening, given its extensive hours of operation.
- To Hannelore, knowledge is knowledge; it's up to the people who get it what they do with it. Similarly, there's no question too big or small to warrant asking. The price will fluctuate accordingly.
- Her pink bunny is one of Llawes' hologram pets. Heavily customized by a contact both to look wispy and to remove any datamining software.
- Yes, she can use the spell paper in her Cor to divine. If you believe in that sort of thing. Not that Hannelore does -- she'll take the cold hard facts gained from her informants, thanks.
