There isn't anything remarkable about Wyatt's childhood in his opinion. His mother was from Lumiose City in Kalos, known for her contribution to the integrated devices of Lumiose tower, and teaches engineering at a notable university. His father was from Hoenn, known for his excavations and fossil research across the region, and has written several award-winning papers as well as published books on the topic. These two sharp minds met, married in Unova, made a baby, divorced, and left the child with a nanny. They only visited once or twice a year on holidays at most since the unintelligent, drooling child was the least of their concern. 

Wyatt was a prodigy, as anyone would expect. Although, other than his studies, he had no outlet for so much intelligence. There weren't many times when he could keep his opinion to himself because of his egotistical nature he believed everyone else was less capable than him. To him, everyone else was a pawn to amuse Wyatt in the game of life, even the ones he sometimes called friends. At 15 he graduated early with honors like it was nothing. He then went on to finish the university undergraduate program in 2 years and go on to get his master's in 3 years. By the time he was 25 he already had his doctorate and was a known name in the Unova region for his medical achievements.

Wyatt ran his own clinic for a few years before finally getting funding for a research facility in Galar. He'd taken an interest in the dynamax locations and became fascinated with the ability it gave Pokemon and, having done extensive research on the genetics of pokemon already, he was curious just how these phenomenons could affect the pokemon genetics mixed if with human genes. This small curiosity turned into a bigger project when Wyatt successfully spliced the pokemon and humen genes. He tested it on himself and the results were what he would consider a break through. If humans had the abilities of pokemon then this could be a starts of a new era.

Things were going well during the early stages of research.  Wyatt even managed to fall for one of his assistants by the name of Amira. It was the first time he had ever experienced attraction to anyone,  and for once he was genuinely happy.  

The research took quite a few years or so but after many sleepless nights, his dedication to the research had paid off. The team had already used watered down beta versions of the concoction on themselves with great results. Now they could test the final serum, it was more potent and would have greater effects than the previous versions. The team bypassed the proper testing procedures by using the serum on themselves and now collected a volunteer. However the test subject had a fatal reaction and when the body had to disappear the team suddenly changed thier view of how this was all being conducted. This caused Wyatt to lash out. As far as he cared  it was what they signed up for and this is how science gets done, if they didn’t like it then they could all leave. They had worked too hard to turn away from this now and looking at history would prove sacrifices had to be made for such advancements. 

But that didn't sway them. The team didn't think he was in his right mind and they certainly wouldn't let him get away with it so they turned to Amira to calm Wyatt down and try to talk some sense into him. But it was no use. With great concern for Wyatt, Amira went behind his back and informed the board of scientific affairs as well as the authorities of Wyatt's plans to test his research.  Upon hearing this the board quickly confiscated Wyatts precious research and deemed too dangerous to release. Wyatt's findings were so in-depth and...deranged, to say the least, that the file was tucked away under a redacted and confidential title. Or so that's what they claimed to do.

Fortunately for Wyatt, he was hardly punished for this crime due to his precausion of having he subject sigh extensive consent paperwork. As for the experiment itself, to keep it out to the public, the whole thing was swept under the rug. Wyatt was prohibited from researching the subject any further and was put under surveillance for several months. Wyatt had lost everything important to him after the incident, including his willingness to open up or trust others. Now, with little to nothing to continue on for Wyatt disappeared without a trace. No one was able to contact him or find him, as far as anyone knew the scientist was long dead. Even Amira, who tried the hardest couldn't even come up with a body. 

In Wyatt's absence the research team still had many resources and notes stashed away to work with, after all the charges were on on Wyatt. The small research group took the perfected serum and disguised it as a new pharmaceutical steroid drug. It worked on the first test. Eventually they grew over the years into a bigger research cooperation. The distribution of the drug was controlled outwardly but underhandedly other versions were leaked into the streets of the common people. The serum had contaminated the world and Wyatt was still nowhere to be foud.

It wasn't until a Helix experiment by the name of Divya escaped and caught out the doctor in his old lab that Wyatt would be caught lurking around. He would be roped into helping Divya disconnect from the experiment don't on them. This of course would lead Team Helix and all sorts of other trouble right to his door.
