Viktor Endoros, a prodigy in the Endoros family as well as a very intelligent mortician. He graduated at a young age and became very talented at what he did, following in his fathers footsteps with their family business. After he graduated though, his parents saw fit that Viktor would be the one to carry the family secret; the powers of necromancy bestowed upon by his great great great grandmother, Alexandra Endoros. Viktor accepted this gift even though he was confused at first. He understood his parents saw a lot in him, and he couldn't let the family name down. Flash foward not so long after this, Vik became entranced more with Necromancy than he did his actual work, and now is on the hunt for immortality so he can go past his human life expectancy and continue to research the world around him.

Warlock | Family of Endoros

Vik became a warlock at the age of nineteen after he graduated college. The power he received from his long deceased ancestor was hard to deal with at first, especially since the magic hadn't been in the family for a long time now. Dark, crackling energy surges through Viktor, the magic being offensive and protective. While Vik can't access all the power, he does have the ability to let Alexandra use hers. Since they have a pact, she no longer has to stick to the ethereal plane.

Art of Endoros

The scalpel that Alexandra gifted to him once he became a warlock. It was once passed down in the family and has odd abilities.

Immortality

As of recent, Viktor managed to grasp his want for immortality through scientific means. Now with a long life ahead of him he gets to explore the world around him without worry of succumbing to his human life span.

About

Viktor Endoros was born into a family of renowned morticians and doctors, both sides excelling so much that they were often called in to be doctors/morticians for rich families, even for Brunnidor's Royalty itself. While he was growing up, it was evident he too would become a mortician similar to his father, Alphonse Endoros. They quickly gave him home schooling lessons before sending him off to a prestigious private school, watching as he excelled much quicker than his peers. After graduating early they pulled him back home to teach him even more, showing family techniques and the way the Endoros name ran things. Viktor worked cleanly on his first body when he was fifteen years old, the youngest any of the mortician's on his side had been exposed to this line of work. His parents were beginning to learn of his natural capabilities and hastily worked on getting him to college by the time he was sixteen. He graduated when he was about nineteen years old, one the youngest among his peers to finish up his studies. It seemed things were going quickly for the young child of the Endoros family, and he expected to head off to establish work soon after leaving school but he was then pulled aside one final time by his family.

They had a parting gift for him, taking him to a room in the family home he hadn't ever been in. He examined the oddities around the room…magical items, spell books, and components. At the end of the room was a shrine with a picture of an older woman…a woman he recognized to be his great great great grandmother. Confused, he looked to his mother and father who were simply smiling. He'd heard tales of his greatest grandmother's achievements but wondered what it had to do with him. His eyes flicked to his mother, Caroline Endoros, as she seemed to be praying to the shrine, muttering something under her breath.

"O' mother of necromancers, it is finally time. We have come to you with our dearest son, and I think you'd love to meet him."

A dark light shone bright, teal smoke filling the room as Viktor covered his face and backed up. He coughed, waving the smoke from his face until he looked up, seeing the ghostly figure of her. Alexandra Endoros. He knew spectral figures existed, but it wasn't ever like he had the ability to meet one. He wasn't some adventurer, someone with the means to fight one…so this was all new to him. The two of them stared at each other for a silent few seconds before he cleared his throat.

"...Hello, Mrs.Alexandra."

"Please, why the formalities? Touching really but I am your grandmother, child, you may refer to me as such."

As the two of them spoke, Alexandra understood Viktor understood her concerns of necromancy's current state in the world. She even stated that he reminded her of herself when she was young and new to this line of work Viktor would soon be introduced to. Once they agreed to a patron bond, Viktor was given the abilities to reanimate his beautiful works of art while she would be given the satisfaction of continuing her own work in death. As a going away gift, he was given the Art of Endoros.

Meeting Cassandra Fantoche and Baxter Azmire

As time went on his normal mortician work began to bore him. He didn't mind following the family line but the words of Alexandra still trickled in the back of his mind, thus he thought now would be the time to start. At the age of 20 Viktor dove into the art of revival. Sure, it wasn't taboo or unknown, Yeudrase'yl was filled to the brim with magic and wonders, revival being one of them. He didn't want to do it through magical means or by some divine being no he wanted to alter the course of a person's untimely demise with his own hands. He couldn't start doing this work in the capital though...so, with the help of his family, Alexandra, and an ever growing interest in engineering, he began to build his study off in the forest of exophia.

A year later, the first to hear of his work was a woman named Cassandra. He was taken aback, wondering where she even got the information about his family's secrets and his own work. She declined to answer, but ensured him that she had no interest in political matters and wouldn't bother to air out the family secrets instead using it as a bridge of understanding. Viktor was hesitant...but slowly began to indulge her, revealing his other area of interest; immortality. He explained his ever growing boredom of his current subjects and how he wanted to explore the world without being bound to mana and a patron. Cassandra opened up herself about her want to keep living, fearful of death. He scoffed at that, because of course he was dealing with someone terrified with the concept of death but still, he would need someone to test his serum's on...and he wasn't about to go and get unwilling subjects. She agreed to being a subject, no matter what happens as a side effect, as long as she could prolong her incoming demise. The two have worked together since then.

Viktor had another hobby. The appreciation for artwork, since he himself considered morticionary work an art. At around 24 years old he scoped the land for an artist of his standards, finding none other than the Head Councilman of Exophia's son: Baxter Azmire. An interesting man who did not bother to express many emotions, but Viktor began to think his art said otherwise. At one of Baxter's exhibit's, he approached the man with a hefty sum of money, requesting he paint some portraits of his family to start. Baxter seemed bored with this request, but a job offer was a job offer. The painter was surprised to see Vik watching the majority of his process in silence, and when the portraits were finally finished he requested yet another piece. Something that Baxter wished to paint, it could be anything. Finally this seemed to be what Baxter wanted.

The two kept conversing for three more years, Viktor paying him for his portraits and what felt like his time. At this point Baxter was beginning to notice he was the only artist Viktor caught an eye for. Suppose...they were friends? Hm, friendly acquaintances at most. Of course. Friendly acquaintances would change one fateful night. It was the month of Petricoal, 3144: an incredibly tough times for those in Exophia as the showers and constant rain gets worse. Viktor offered to accompany Baxter home this time, unable to just let the other get through the forest on his own. What came was the cart reering off course, Baxter falling and Vik revealing his magic in an attempt to save the other. It...did not end well, the other perishing due to the sudden force at the attempted save. Vik did not expect sudden emotions to control him, dragging the man back to the study and desperately reviving him with the serum he'd been working on and trying to perfect. It...worked, his first real success with only minor side effects. Null emotions, lack of a tone in his voice, and uh, a new tint of skin color. They could work with this.

After the shakiness of the event and when Baxter was able to fully form sentences, he chose to become indepted to Viktor despite the mortician's statements that he did not have to. He asked the other to teach him necromancy magic, how to work on bodies, and what exactly he was trying to learn. With enough convincing, Viktor finally let the other in. He now considers Baxter his right hand man and most loyal assistant.

Current

Year 3147 (Age 30). Viktor has achieved immortality and is recooperating after the party who got trapped in his study offed him. He has given the serum to both Cassandra and Baxter just as promised, before sealing away the means of creating this with Alexandra. In his mind, this serum being mass produced could be incredibly dangerous therefore he vowed to only create it again in times of need. Cassandra went on her way, leaving just Baxter, Frank (a warforged he created years back), and himself to do whatever was left to do.

He's found himself studying a peculiar woman named Stella. She has a very interesting illness, one he'd never seen before...though test after test doesn't lead him anywhere close to an answer and only gives him more questions. He claims he's not trying to help her but a soft spot may be growing for the odd Stella Van De Kamp.

Trivia

  • He's got cat allergies, they're pretty bad.
  • Viktor knows how to play the piano because that's just what rich kids do I guess.
  • Engineered his own prosthetic hand after gettin it chopped off. He wasn't vibing with the original one they got him so he took matters into his own...hand.

Relationships

Right hand man and love interest. Baxter is the only one who truly understands the logic behind the mortician's ways. Unseparable after the event in which caused Baxter's death, the two silently share the sentiment on living out their immortality with one another. In recent years Viktor (poorly) revealed his feelings for him, only strengthening the bond more as they are now partners.

The two aren't incredibly close, but Viktor does understand what Cassandra wants and helps her in his own way. They bicker, Cassandra not entirely seeing eye to eye with how Viktor does things and Vik thinking her fear of death is childish for what they were trying to achieve but the two work incredibly well as researchers into the serum. Cassandra did not say goodbye to Baxter or Vik when she left, but he does not mind, figuring it's just like her.

zyCQ4nt.png

A warforged that Viktor build from scratch. His personality was based on a butler and caretaker of Viktor's that he holds fond memories of, so he wished to honor his life by making a sentient construct with similar traits. FRANK is not aware of this, and Vik does not plan on telling him anytime soon, allowing him to live as his own person.

TJ2kYMo.png

His great great...and so on, Grandmother. Coined the "Mother of Necromancy". The two have a rather positive relationship, holding similar ideology and ways of going about their business. Alexandra seems to hold even less morals though than her grandson, which the two can be at odds about but nonetheless it's never a problem.

The interesting woman he was asked to help in the middle of the night. He's moreso interested in the strange illness plaguing her than helping her recover but never the less he's still assisting her. He's begun to grow a strange soft spot for her but refuses to say that, acting as if she's a bother.

Viktor's Father. The two have a positive relationship though Vik can be minorly annoyed with his father's nonchalantness. He enjoys seeing his father's achievements, and worked hard to be just as good of a funeral director as he is.

Viktor's mother. The two have a positive relationship and he gets his more serious traits from her. He spent a lot of time in childhood trailing behind her as she worked as a battle medic, becoming incredibly familiar with the lycan attacks in Exophia at a young age because of that.
