Alias: Dom

Age: 24

Gender: Male

Ethnicity: French Caucasian

Sexuality: ?!?!? This man has a damn OATH of celibacy!

Height: 5’9”

Description:

Dom’s beginning was unfortunate; much to his father and sister’s dismay, his mother died during childbirth which caused a disconnect between the family at that very moment. His father, who was a psychologist and was fascinated with the human mind and how it functions, felt a snap- and in desperation to keep the woman he loved with him, he had a serious lapse in judgment.

He carved little symbols into the baby’s back, setting up a sort of ‘ritual’ within one of the books he’d read, and placed the baby atop the mother on a cold, thick slab of concrete. Candles were lit around them, and he forced Dom’s young sister to chant foreign horrors with him in a futile attempt to bring her back. Not knowing exactly what he was doing, nor expecting a horrific outcome (let alone one at all besides IDEALLY bringing his wife back in replacement of the baby), the grieving father came to a shock when the newborn ceased to breathe, it’s body splitting apart only to form what could be described as an angel- or, once the holy being ripped itself apart moments later and transformed, a chilling demon straight from the gates of hell itself.

The demon (calling himself Thedus) spat venom towards the man, cursing him for creating him with volatile words and tying him to the newborn’s body- of which he tenderly revived. This was his vessel, now, and he’d be within this child for the rest of its life, co-existing as they floated through life.
The father was miffed, mortified at what he had created though now had no choice but to accept. The young girl, too, saw Dom now as a being to not be trifled with even though he was merely her baby brother.

Eventually, as Dom’s sister felt neglected and tortured by her father growing up, she murdered him when she was only 11 years old, and promptly sent young Dominique to a convent in hopes they would repress, repent and hopefully berid him of his demon (which he is completely clueless about). Instead, within the convent, he is quickly revered as a sort of ‘angel’ as the nuns and priests catch glimpses of wings in the shadows behind him, clearly viewed as a direct line to God (of which he is not). He was made into a priest very quickly, soaring up the ranks and pushed deep into the teachings of religion.
Dom, still completely unaware of what is going on, is easily pressured into the role and takes it up with determination to make the people around him happy. He cares about all! He is a decent, genuine man, though it is when he starts to stray from the church and experience the vices in life does he unknowingly bring out the demon within…
