About

An odd specimen native to the recently discovered Treasure Reef, Ryba dedicates her life to living peacefully in the only unpolluted waters that the Golden Wasteland has to offer. She seems skittish around the pirates, but welcoming to the company of other skykids. In her mind, there is a delicate balance between dark and light. While that balance seems so out of order in other areas of the Wasteland, the Reef seems to handle it perfectly. Its abyss holds almost eldrich darkness, while its topmost waters glimmer in warm sunlight that pokes through fluffy white clouds above. Ryba seems respectful of deadly creatures like krill (and almost awestruck by the leviathan), but eager to snack on an unfortunate crab or two.

Trivia

• Ryba can last an absurdly long time underwater without losing any light or air.
• Her "side" eyes turn red in extreme dark to mimic the eye of an angry krill to keep herself from being attacked by dark creatures.
• Scales be slippery. Always.
• Her body scales are like a manta's to blend in with a group of them.
