- Catherine was born on Amazon Lily and a former member of the Kuja tribe
- Because she was raised around all females, Catherine developed sexual behavioral problems which caused her to become so addicted to men and to form a hatred of women

Catherine has the ability to control belts, mainly focusing on the one around her waist which acts in tandem with her movements, sometimes resembling snakes and she the tamer. She can make them sharp to cut through skin or hard enough to snap bone depending on her means of torture.
