EGO DEATH OF A PRINCE
EGO DEATH OF A PRINCE
Bubblecrest seeks approval above all else, and is a polite, well-spoken warrior who dutifully listens to any orders given to him by those he respects—for him, there’s a certain satisfaction to be had when praised for a deed well-done. Unfortunately, only those in a higher position than him manage to earn his respect. When not under the watchful eyes of a higher-up, Bubble becomes more… troublesome. Oftentimes, he’s may try to physically dominate over those weaker than him, using his muscular physique to push them down, pounce on them, or even bite and scratch at them. Other times, he'll verbally bully another cat, insulting or manipulating them to feel bad about themselves. These behaviors most often occur when a cat tries to be independent from him, or otherwise ignore his commands. He hates the idea of things not going his way, and when others don't bend to his will, he responds by lashing out. When left completely alone, Bubblecrest acts meek and unsure, pouting to himself a lot. In truth, he holds a lot of insecurity from his kithood, feeling like he had to constantly one-up his siblings for their mothers' attention. As such, he projects himself as what he thinks an ideal tom should be in order to grab others' interest: an independent and strong leader that takes charge of any problem thrown at them, crushing anything that goes against them. He craves other’s approval and validation, and being as ignorant as he is, he views being a bully as the best way to get this validation. He rallies up others to gang up on and antagonize any one specific cat who may think or act differently to him. Even without a group behind him, he can be a bully on his own, and won't stop his misbehavior until someone he respects is near—though, he may still act too entitled to listen to them. Fussy and prissy, the high-ego feline is quite the rowdy character.
