Former vigilante type, used to wander from town to town and take down outlaws and such. There was no one in the West quicker than he was, by foot or by horse or on the draw.

Then something went horribly wrong.

They're retired now with a limp in their left hind leg, but people still know who they are. He's pretty famous. No one knows their name, though, instead referring to him with the title he'd give them whenever he came 'round town - "The Ranger".
