She was born in Los Alamos (New Mexico), her father left her with her mother when she was 4 years old
The mother is a fraudster and constantly in debt and together with May they moved from place to place for fear that the police will find them
Her relationship with her mother is cold, they never really talked heart to heart, and before another move, May got tired of everything and she said goodbye to her mother and went to another city to study, dreaming of becoming a specialist in medicine
Then she throws up her studies and begins to abuse alcohol and cigarettes and often go to parties to get away from reality
And during one of the regular hangouts, she meets Jenny where they began a sincere communication (they were very drunk at that moment)
