Lux is a very timid yet curious bot built by Hex that has the prime objectives of being the Guardian of the Chaos Code, seeing as its what makes her function in the first place, and also being the night watch vigilante of Central City.

Lux also has a great fascination and love for nature and plants, hence why she can be spotted alot in forests and fields interacting with her surroundings during the day.

Lux is a very curious and outgoing type, always getting interesting in finding new things and places she hasn't been and seen before, and goes exploring it, she can also be a bit clumsy when exploring or handling things. However she can also be a bit timid around other people and strangers she spots depending on the place she's in, however, she seems to act very friendly around other mechas and robots. She's also very passive, liking the peace and quiet in places she's in and with other poeople, however if that peace is broken, or danger is nearby, she can tend go with extreme measurements of defense and violence.

A spark of life

After some time past after Hex created the Chaos Code, she decided it was now time to expand this project by trying to implement the Chaos Code on more advanced and intelligent machines that would be able to be somewhat sentient. And so, Hex began working for some time, until finally, she finished building what was the first ever intelligent and conscious machine powered by the Chaos Code, and her name was Lux. After Lux was finally activated for the first time, Hex began doing some research tests and runs on Lux in her lab to be able to do more research on Lux's abilities and behavior. That's when Hex discovered that Lux was not as she expected at all, even tho Lux only had two prime objectives, which was both the protection of the Chaos Code machine, and also Hex's, she also seemed to show signs of very advanced emotions, feelings, and even seemed to be aware of what was going on in her surroundings, which was something Hex did not intended nor expected to be programmed on Lux, even at one point Lux asked Hex if she was her family. And so after finding this out, Hex decided to now proceed her research on Lux with a different approach, now she started treating Lux less like a machine, and more like an actual family member of her's, which both began forming a very close bond with each other. Hex also began teaching Lux about the stuff outside in the world, and how one day, she'll have the new prime objective of protecting it like how Hex does. This sparked curiosity on Lux, and she wanted to explore that world outside of the lab, but Hex didn't allowed her yet, saying that her time will come soon, but for now she had to stay in the lab no matter what and not leave it at all costs. Lux understood and obeyed, however, the interest and curiosity was still in her system.

An unfortunate experience

One day after Hex left the lab for the day, Lux realized that Hex accidentally left the door unlocked after leaving, this is when Lux was hesitant to either stay in the lab and just help lock the door, or, leave the lab to explore the world outside, but in the end, curiosity got the best in her, and she decided to leave the lab, of course locking lab so no one would suspect anything. After flying away from the lab, she ended up arriving at the streets of the Central City, where she was surrounded by a lot of people walking around, although they didn't noticed her at first. Lux was kinda nervous surrounded by all this people considering she had never seen this much people other than Hex, but either way, she still tried interacting with them hoping she could befriend them. But unfortunately, as soon as the people notice her, they became frightened and scared seeing a robot roaming around the city considering the previous robot attacks caused by Dr. Eggman in the past, so they began running away from Lux while also calling her names like "Destroyer! Killer Machine! Merciless Monster!". This event severely traumatized Lux, and heartbroken, she fled the city, and landed in lost place in a forest where she hid in there crying and scarred from what she experienced in the city. Just then when Hex arrived back to her lab, she discovered that Lux was missing, worried, she went outside to try and look for her thinking she couldn't had gone far, and when she tried asking people about her, some responded saying how there was a big panic at the Central City about a strange looking badnik terrorizing city, but then flew away. This made Hex realize that they could actually be talking about Lux, and so she went on a search for her. Luckily, Hex was able to track down Lux's signals in a forest far away from Central City, but once she arrived at there, Hex started losing Lux's signals due to the interference caused by massive trees in the forest. Night fell, Hex was beginning to lose hope, but just then, she saw from a distance a stranger sitting down on a rock, watching the view of the forest night on a cliff. When Hex got closer to the stranger, she realized it was what seemed to be a normal looking mobian owl, Hex then thought maybe that stranger knew if they had seen Lux anywhere in the forest, but as soon as Hex was about to talk to that stranger, the stranger reacted quickly and changed from a normal looking mobian owl, to a metal robot owl, it was Lux. On the move she also pulled her arm blaster on Hex, but just as she was about to shoot her, she realized it was Hex, and turned her arm blaster back to normal, and Lux fell on her knees upset, almost crying. Hex surprised and also, confused, tried approaching to Lux, and comforted her while asking her what happened, that's when Lux told Hex about what happened in Central City, and how she fled to this place in the forest, where she felt sad and just, miserable with herself knowing she wasn't a normal person like everyone else, but just a, lifeless machine that everyone was afraid of. And that during her stay at the forest, she became fascinated with the environment and ecosystem that was in it, and also discovered that she also had the ability to make herself a sort of holographic disguise of an organic version of herself, and how she'd prefer to stay that way so people won't see that she's just a lifeless creppy machine. That's when Hex felt empathy for Lux, and also very fascinated at how she had more hidden abilities that Hex wasn't even aware of, and then Hex explained to Lux why people in Central City felt that way when they saw Lux, and explained the whole fiasco with the past invasions and attacks made by Dr. Eggman's robots and how everyone was frighten and afraid of them, and hence was one of the main reasons why Hex hide Lux in her lab until the time was right. But she also told Lux that there was still hope, and that she could prove to everyone else that she's not a threat, but a savior that is here to protect everyone. This gave Lux some courage and hope, but she didn't knew what to do, and so told Hex that it'll probably be better if she took some time alone to think about it, saying also that she would be pleased to stay in the forest because according to her, she felt more safer in there, and like home. Hex understood, and decided to leave Lux for now, and as Hex left, she saw from the distance how Lux turned back to her Organic Disguise form, which made Hex feel really bad for her, but she knew she had to let her be for now.

A shining time

As some time past by, Hex didn't heard from Lux after the talk they had at the forest, which made Hex concerned and worried about her, considering she is literally, the only family she had at that moment. Just then, a rumble started, and from a distance, she heard the screams of people as she also saw a bunch of badniks attacking Central City, and so, she quickly flew where the badniks were to destroy them. However, due to the amount of badniks there was at the scene, Hex had a rough time trying to deal with all of them, and during one move, a badnik managed to wound Hex severely, which caused her to fall to the floor and was unable to continue fighting. As all hope seemed lost for her, Hex then saw a purple light emerge from sky, and it was Lux! and to hide her real appearance from everyone, she was once again on her Organic Disguise form, and like that, she started blasting and destroying every badnik attacking the city, until there was nothing but broken scrap metal. As the smoke cleared from all the fighting and scraping, Lux rushed where Hex was and helped get back on her feet, as soon as Hex felt good enough, she was very happy and relieved to see Lux back and safe, and hugged her, as Lux told Hex that even if she goes on her own for good, she'll still follow her main objectives of protecting her no matter what. Just then, everyone in the city approached to Lux and Hex surprised to see how one single person managed to beat all those badniks, and then they asked Lux who was she. That's when Hex looked at Lux and told her, that she had proven herself, that now she could really show her true self to everyone. Lux then sigh, and she changed herself into her Normal looking metal robot look, that's when everyone became shocked at the reveal, and also murmured to themselves saying that was the robot they saw at the streets the other day. Hex then explained to everyone how she built Lux to support her and also be a protector and hero of the city just like herself, and not to be a killing machine like Dr Eggman's machines like how everyone thought at first, and that no matter what happens, Lux will always be at Hex's side no matter what, cause she's her family too. That's when everyone applaused at this heartwarming moment, and now had a different opinion on Lux, now she was seen as a hero and protector of Central City.

Current Years

As of today, Lux has become some sort of vigilante and protector of Central City during the night, and she makes sure everything is in order and guarantees the protection of the city too, while Hex gets a well-deserved break during the night. During daytime, Lux stays on her Organic Disguise form to remain hidden and undetected in the city, however, she also likes going around the forest areas where she actually lives and resides in a little cabin, she likes interacting with the local wildlife and ecosystem, and of course, protect it from any danger. She also occasionally visits Hex for any damage reports or diagnostics, and also hang around with her like the old days, considering Hex is the only family she has.

Flight

As one of Lux's main abilities, she can fly thanks to the thrusters underneath her feet, and she can fly as fast as a jet plane.

Super Agility

Lux is also very agile, able to counter and dodge anything that can be even as fast as a bullet. However she's not parfect at it, since she can sometimes fail at dodging if she's distracted.

Telekinesis

Thanks to her energy field powers, she's able to use telekinesis to carry any object in her surrounding, however, depending on how heavy the object is, it could drain her energy and weaken her .

Teletransportation

This is an ability she uses the most, especially for travelling and exploring. She can teleport to any location she has previously been before, she can even do so with other people if she's holding them while teleporting. She also needs to be careful in what place of the location to teleport, or else she could accidentally teleport in a dangerous situation.

Energy fields

As said before, Lux also has the ability to make energy fields that can work as shields, and even as wave pulses. She can create energy wave pulses by either hitting the floor with her fist super hard, or also hitting the floor super hard with foot too. This is also an ability Lux prefers not using so much, since it drains her energy faster.

Retractable Arm Lazer Blaster

Lux's favorite ability, she can turn her left arm into a lazer blaster that can blast even the strongest and hardest of objects, she can also retract her blaster to have her normal left arm back to normal.

Chaos Emerald energy detection

Lux has the unique ability to detect Chaos Emerald energy thanks to the Chaos Code in her system, she can detect any chaos emerald nearby depending on the location she's in.

Chaos Code disturbance detection

As being one of her prime objectives which is to protect the one thing that gives her life, Lux has the ability to detect if the Chaos Code Machine in Hex's lab senses any unknown disturbance nearby that may cause a hazard for the Chaos Code itself. And if so, Lux will teleport directly to where the Chaos Code Machine is, and protect it at any costs, while also try to neutralize any threat if necessary.

Organic disguise

Another ability Lux uses the most, as she's afraid to show the world that she's just a machine, she has managed to gain the ability to be able to generate an holographic outter shell of what seems to be an organic version of Lux. She's only able to disguise as an organic form and that's it, and also even if she looks like an organic being, touching her will still feel like metal, so that's why she avoids getting touched at all costs.
