Dr. Ezekiel is my primary care doc! I come in t'see him every so often, but most of the time I'm draggin' Balakid in from some sort of incident or another. Dr. Zeke is one o' the most even-tempered Nauts I know, which is a huge achievement--all of us seem t'be some level of bonkers. As a pretty frank person myself, I appreciate th' academic n' medical honesty he gives at his appointments.
One of my roommates! A strange character, t'be sure, but also strangely loveable. Stares like a deer in headlights, no matter if you're cleanin' dishes or watching a horror flick. I don't know as much about 'em as I'd like to, but he seems to have good taste in plushies. I swear, though, I feel like he's always watchin' me.
Balakid introduced me to Koimi a while ago! We've worked with them several times durin' fashion shoots and advertisement collaborations. They're really well known in the industry, and genuinely fun t' work with, which makes all of our jobs easier. We've gone out as a group for drinks n' chats before. I've also worked on a couple o' their projects as an editor or marketin' designer before. Mad props to them--it feels like they're always involved in a new project, and I definitely respect th' work ethic.
Funny guy--I mean, in the way that he's always doing somethin' funny. Everytime I stop in the station I see 'em in a different spot, like he gets randomized each time a customer comes by. Think he might've gotten stuck in the drinks fridge one time while he was tryin' to refill it? Yeah. Weird guy, but he's pretty chill and doesn't (outwardly) judge me for stoppin' in to buy fifteen coffees over the workday, which means he's cool in my book.
She's very....colorful. Hard not to notice her, not only because of all the blue, but the several cans of coffee stacked in her arms about to fall over. It's cool, I just look the other way. Sometimes she'll just come in throughout the day for em too, that's cool too...regulars are nice to see around here. She might have seen me in unfortunate predicaments from time to time though....have to wipe her memory somehow, maybe lobotomy? Not by me though, I can't do anything special like that.
Kyego's terrifying in an admirable way--easily slides through crowds but commandin' their attention all the same. I've only spoken with 'em a few times, but I could see us hanging out and bullyin' Bala together. Kyego's got some wicked pranks up his sleeve, I can just tell.
Bala is my favorite person in the world--and the most infuriatin'. Being paired with one of the greatest new minds in fashion, 'n then watching them get a billion miles off track and feed strange things to the haunted mass o' shite at the gas station... is certainly something else.
Genuinely, though, being their editor (or manager? Kinda forgot what they hired me for 'n the first place, mostly here for the vibes now) is a hella nice job. We've made a bunch of blog and video content, promotional materials 'n ads, fashion shoots... As much as I gotta bully them into doing their work, they've made a huge effort in puttin' all this together. They're one a' the first to make me feel at home, fresh from the sea.
Everyone needs a Meriririe!! Isn’t she the best?? She’s good at usin’ the creative side of her head! Sometimes it’s like I’m workin’ for Merie, sometimes it’s like Merie is workin’ for me, sometimes neither, sometimes both— it’s great! Merie is the biggest help with my projects and it makes me the happiest naut ever everrrr~
I've only seen Zaire around a few times while checkin' in to the hospital, but he seems t'be one of the most upbeat people I've ever seen. I'm pretty eager to meet new people, but this guy puts me t'shame in that regard--with a handshake and five minutes, he'd gotten out half my life story and had invited me to at least a dozen events around town. I guess I'll be seein' him around!
Ahh Merie!! It was so easy to talk with her and invite her to a few events happening right now. It's not so often I have someone willingly talk to me for such a long period of time! Next time I see her I'll ask for her contact info to stay in touch.
This fucker's dead scary. I don't know if he's constantly glarin', or if he just needs glasses--probably both, I've seen him squintin' at labels when I linger at the bar. Asked him for a recommendation once, n' he gave me a midori sour. Happiest I've ever seen 'em. My advice? Don't touch the heat lamp.
Hmm... I don't really understand why she's intimidated by me, she didn't even do anything to annoy or irk me. Oh well.
She seemed to like the Midori sour I made her, that makes me happy...
Balakid brings him int'a work sometimes, so I've seen him around a fair bit. Rory's definitely nice, but pretty softspoken--I'd love t'be closer friends with him, but he's always got this level o' anxiety around him. I feel like I've got t' earn my way through his walls, if that makes sense. Care for him all th' same, though. Nauts fresh off the boat always need some extra support, and I'm glad t'give it.
Ooh..! I’ve seen her a few times. We’ve exchanged a few words, but it’s usually Balakid who leads the conversations. Merie is surely very friendly, to keep them company! Next time we meet I’ll try to ask for her contact..! ><
Reese is by far the most solid of m' roommates. Very independent, very moody, very spunky. Honestly, I'm just glad t'have someone that can handle their own chores. Always very stylish, in that spiked grunge sor'ta way. He's got a certain act 'bout him... I've seen him jump at the cheesy horror flicks we watch on Monday nights. Maybe he's not quite as hardcore tough as he claims t'be.
Merie is also another flatmate. I dunno how Bala finds all these wackos, but Merie definitely got a head on her shoulders at least... more than Gin, I think. She's pretty artsy too, and has really scary movies for movie nights- I barely flinch to em though. Obviously.
