About

Musca is an earth pony who shares an equal love for insects and music. Often, it combines this love; pretty much all the songs its written are about how cool bugs are. Like, they're literally little bugs, how can you not like them? Musca is loud, about its passions and just in general. Music is usually really loud, and so is Musca. Musca doesn't care what other ponies think, because flies don't care, so why should Musca?

When I first got into My Little Pony, the role of ponysona was filled by a hippogriff named Tecoma Token. However, in the time that I used Tecoma, I never felt a connection with her. I liked her, but I almost never used her as an actual ponysona. So, I created Musca. A pony that encaptures my love for arthropods and how much music (specifically, rock and metal) has influenced me and my art. Its name is a pun, by the way. Rock Musca. Like, rock music. But a Musca is a fly- yeah, you get it. Did you know flies are my favorite animal? See, it makes sense now.
