Thallie Duskwater

Thallie is a priestess that comes from the Duskwater family, a family of glory in the now very distant wars (wars with trolls, the war of the ancients, year -10k type of stuff) Over the thousands of years that fame has died. Now in the 30s, Thallie's family is scattered.

Thallie's mother had died a 4 years after Thal's birth. Her father had fallen into despair and after a few years, he turned to alcohol. Eventually, he became abusive and blamed Thal for the death of her mother. Thal was always cooped up in the house and never really had anyone to turn to. She took up the calling of the priestess because she felt that Elune was the only one she could turn to in her life. Her father didn't stop her, and while she was allowed to leave, she stayed out of the house for as long as she could, often spending many hours in the temple of Elune. From the lack of a real social life in her youth, Thal became shy, anxious with slight trust issues, she never felt comfortable enough speaking of her situation to any of the other priestesses or friends. Thal never fell in love during her lifetime either. She couldn't develop any feelings and was too scared of being committed, with her father still having a grasp in her life, Thal couldn't move out and her Father was sometimes very controlling of what she does. 

Because Thallie didn't socialize much in her life, she turned to her calling but also to hobbies and other things. Thal was excellent in the language of the Elves, Darnassian. Out of time as a priestess, she taught children the language. As an extra job, Thallie also picked up the skill of weaving, a talent after her mother really, it allowed to gather some money for herself to eat out of the house and buy minor personal things.

Thal enjoyed reading literally anything that came to her hands, some of her priestess friends enjoy gossip from all over Azeroth, it's quite often she's read a magazine on celebrities, heroes and all other 'high and rich' people. It's that "why not" type of situations in her life. Good for some random trivia.
