He/They // 21 // Demi-pan // 6'2"

Part  of the team STRT in Beacon Academy, Tianqing's known for his calm demeanor and relative coldness to those around him that aren't on his  team. Despite being regarded as cold, however, he's not considered mean; mostly it's just regarded as being aloof, which is an image Tianqing is fine keeping up.

Truthfully, in the first year at Beacon, he was just too anxious to try to interact  with people for long, often leading him to quickly escape conversations as politely as possible. This is due to his childhood; Tianqing grew up with his parents and brother Weixuan in the woods a ways away from  Vale. A dangerous place, sure, but with an ex-huntress for a mother and a father that almost earned the same title, they were well off and happy. Tianqing and Weixuan were trained, and often Tianqing, being a few years older, would go off with his mother to scavenge from nearby ruined cities/towns.

Tianqing and Weixuan had a severe fight one day. Not one either of them remember  the details of, only that their parents found it to be a better idea to  separate them to calm them down. Their mother talked him down and  reminded him that he had to be a good older brother, but in the end, it  didn't matter; the stewing negativity had attracted Grimm and the  brothers barely escaped with their lives.

Now  he's in a much better place with his team and in his last year at  Beacon. He uses two weapons named Terminal One and Terminal Nine, a  whip-sword and a gun that can turn into a shield. He's willing to pick  up any weapon and use it.

As  far as his personality goes, Tianqing is polite and calm, choosing to speak in few words because, genuinely, he just wants to be considered a cool person. He's still not entirely used to society at large, though he's adjusted much more over the years. Despite this, though, Tianqing has no problem swinging first. He has a strong sense of justice, so while he will give someone a chance if they, say, insult a faunus for their animal parts out of just frustration, when it becomes clear that it's meant to offend or hurt, he'll step in and make sure that doesn't happen twice. The fighting isn't... always appreciated, but throughout the years, he's never really shaken off the urge. Also, once away from the general populace, he'll tend to be a bit more honest, like complaining about homework with his team, which he is very bad at-- you think someone who grew up in the woods can sit down in a class for an hour?

His  semblance is called Three Dragons. By sacrificing a third of his aura, he can summon a dragon made out of it, either the green dragon, red dragon, or white dragon; the first being better for defense, the second for attack, and the third balanced between the two. They're not sentient creatures, but Tianqing still treats them as such sometimes. Usually, he'll rely upon his own skills in a fight, since using his semblance drains a lot of aura and can be very dangerous. (Still, sometimes he'll  show off.)

For some other fun facts:

- During the late winter, Tianqing's antlers generally fall off. It doesn't hurt him too much, but it does leave him irritable for a while and he tends to wear his hood up or a lot of hats during the time. People have asked for one of his antlers before and he has a carved pendant from one girl who did-- he doesn't find it all that weird since they're just antlers anyways, though whenever someone's bold enough to ask to his face, he's a little impressed.

- He thinks it's a crime for someone to not know how to cook. Survival is his whole thing, so when he finds out that someone's not self-sufficient in some important way like that, he looks genuinely a bit distressed and usually teaches them if there's enough time.

- Both he and Weixuan are based off of Mahjong. The rest of team STRT is also based off of strategy games.
