Profile

Heron is a typically large and built Mudwing with dark brown and tan scales, with a tawny yellow underbelly and turquoise eyes that almost shine against his muddy scale colours. He has thick horns that follow the curve of his head and suddenly point upwards at an angle, muddy black spikes along his spine, and a large scar on his left eye that trails down from his eyebrow to the bottom of his jaw. he has a few spikes on his chin that almost resemble a make-shift beard.

Although much more muscular than the average dragon from another tribe, Heron is notably a little thinner than most mudwings, giving him a more sculpted body-shape with a little less fat than usual. He typically has an amulet attached to a turquoise scarf sitting around his neck.

Despite his size and strength, he comes off usually as rather nervous and reluctant- struggling to socialize with other dragons outside of his troop, but being as friendly as he can be anyways. He typically opens up and speaks a little more when less dragons are present- especially while alone with someone. He also has a lightly buried sense of curiosity, being prone to exploration. This translates mostly into tracking and foraging skills, as his natural sense of direction makes him unafraid to venture out. He cares deeply for other dragons, but doesn't express that well around groups.

_____________________________________________________________________

A Scavenger (human) that used a stolen animus artifact to turn himself into a dragon- then promptly stole the entire talisman to prevent anyone turning him back (and sometimes to switch between)

Heron was kicked out by his village after being tried for the murder of another member- of which he feels justified. While wandering in the wilderness, he found the artifact deep in a cave and connected to a large statue , which was used by a hidden all-tribe council to punish dragons and change them into scavengers as a form of permanent exile.

After changing himself and taking the talisman, Heron is currently living as a mudwing with his own un-sib troop- feigning a background as a wounded amnesiatic soldier. Effectively living a lie. He battles with that guilt nearly every day while still knowing he is much happier living his life as a mudwing with his new sibs.
