Kairos/Corbin

It's hard to describe the relationship between Kai and Dop, especially when the entire reason they met is due to Dop stomping on the metaphorical toes of Kai's affiliated goddess. As it started, Kairos was only really looking to obtain the secrets of Metamorphosis, a necromantic ritual created by Gidan kind; as time as passed, however, he's found Dop as more and more of a friend... he's still trying to get that magic, though. Despite occasionally acting as a thorn in Dop's side, Kai has been willing to stick his neck out for her on many occasions, acting as both a support system and a voice of reason when things get tough.

One exchange of compliments and a magically sauced out rockdog later, Kai and Tiffany are tethered in both mind and soul; knowing eachother inside and out, it's pretty needless to say that they're the best of friends. Both edgy, both fans of rock music, both fans of drinking, they're two emo peas in a pod. Occasionally, they'll meet eachother in a strange dream realm that takes the form of a bar where they'll drink and shoot the shit. Pretty easy to confide in one another when everything is out in the open, you know?

Dop's angsty teen dragon daughter, Bella has a particular fondness for Kairos that can only be described as a "cringey middle-school celebrity crush", which Kai is generally unaware of. Nonetheless, Bella was kind of the icebreaker for Dop and Kairos. They went on a few side-adventures here and there, cleared out a whole goblin cave, the works. Ultimately, Kai was one of the catalysts for Bella going out on her own; entrusting him with delivering a messily written goodbye letter and running off into the world, Kai often wonders how her quest for self-discovery is going. In a way she reminds him of himself, which he finds to be respectable.
