Tone lived life with her best friend, both scientists. They often traveled the world and did research on teams together. Her best friend studied birds while she studied bugs. While out on a research project they both encountered and esk. Being science based people this completely shattered their minds. They brought their findings back to their team who completely shot them down. The two became more and more obsessed with what they had seen and as they returned back to their lives their credibility was completely ruined. The esk they had encountered was an abnormal and had followed the two scientists. Weird things kept happening to the two and both began to lose touch with their world more and more. Both get sent for psych evals but both wanted answers to the things they were experiencing and continued to 'research'. Her friend then vanished, being transformed by the esk that had followed them. This loss sent Tone further into her spiral and soon enough her friend in Esk form, transformed her. Tone remembers some of her life before transformation and that she has some connection to the esk that transformed her, beyond the actual transformation. Her friend, Veery does not seem to remember anything beyond the fact they love birds and know much about them.

Artist Tips

Tone's mask is white while their body is a light pink. They have no other markings besides the gradial color. Their feet fade to a dull pink/grey tone. The pansy is like a hat! Without it Tone even gets a little bit of 'hat hair'.
