Taxidermy is my middle aged man fursona; unliving proof that you don't have to be turned in your twenties to be a cool vampire. He is a transgender goth elder and overflowing fountain of wisdom for baby bats.

He is very moody and tempermental, rendering him somewhat unpredictable in character. He gets very grumpy when denied his little snack or nap.

A sudden and hysteria-inducing plague of vampirism gripped the country during Taxidermy's early adulthood. After his best friend Freya was infected, he decided that the two of them should relocate immediately in order to protect her from witch hunts. Their destination: a castle on a remote scottish island inhabited by a paranoid lord who agreed to take them on as servants.

When drawing them, please keep in mind:

• He is fairly average in height and build, though slightly on the larger side for both.
• His pupils can be either rounded or vertical slits. He has yellow eyes with dark red sclerae and his eyelashes are a brighter red. He often wears dark eyeshadow.
• He has a long dark mane with large and even white streaks.
• In addition to standard vampire attire he enjoys wearing clothes which reflect the musical subcultures he participates in (predominantly goth and metal).
