When her Awakening curse was finally removed upon Eternity’s dissolve, Cathy could barely even comprehend the relief of getting to live some sort of normal life again (following a several-week coma to catch up on all the lost sleep, though). A little over a year later, and she followed through on one of the final wishes of the sacrifice that put an end to such disasters, and takes the chance to simply live out the fantasy of a mundane existence beyond constant war and fighting, trying to find a sense of happiness and satisfaction within an otherwise cruel world. Seeking a new start, she, alongside her pseudo-childhood friend, Kylie (the two were close before Cathy became Cathy, and as such it was partially akin to making a new friend entirely), decided to enroll in college together, hoping the opportunity would offer a transition into a more standard life. Her focuses are primarily on sciences and architecture, whereas her companion more so the realm of arts and medicines. Though not particularly dramatic or exciting, the new environment already appeals to her far more as a source of fun and genuine happiness that Cosmivengeon in its entirety lacked up until that point.
