Although she may seem aloof and distant, Lymantria is a complete zealot who would do most anything to serve the New God. Her eyes are empty, giving her an almost inhuman air about her. She's repressed almost any shred of earthly desires or emotions in attempt to become the perfect vessel for her God. However, no matter how badly she tries to convince herself otherwise, she is still human.

Adrienne Vernier grew up in Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, France. The youngest of 8 children, she grew up in an incredibly religious family. Her parents were extremely distant and neglectful, and instilled the belief in her that she should not live for herself but rather for God. Once she turned 18, she moved to Marseille to live on her own in an act of spite against her parents, who wanted her to stay home and become a nun. Slowly, she started to accept that she was her own person and recover from the wounds given to her in her childhood, even picking up painting as a hobby. However, during the advent of the Contreo Genesis project, she began to notice the existence of Alix. At first dismissing it as her imagination, these signs from the New God grew in number, to the point where she was completely convinced of the reincarnation of God. She went on to form the Church of the New God, a cult housed in an abandoned Catholic church. All the personal progress she had made since she disowned her parents was seemingly undone, and she resolved to completely dedicate her life to the New God. She seemingly became an empty shell, living out her life in service of her God.

As a magical girl, Lymantria can summon hordes of nun moths to attack her adversaries. Given the right opportunity, she is able to use her moths to puppeteer her enemies.
