(Authors note: yeah this backstory is still super fucking in the works atm, i gotta read up on more lancer lore to figure out how i wanna implement a character like this into that setting.) Nobody really knows who or what Cero is, including Cero. They claim to be amnesiac to avoid discussing their past with anyone. The reality though is that as far as they can remember they were a homunculus body, one among many, to be used in decorp experiments, and someway, somehow, they gained consciousness and used it to break out of the facility holding them.

As for their personality, Cero's got a short temper, and is the vengeful and vindictive type, picking fights with anyone they think has slighted them in any way. Gets disproportionately mad when anyone actually *hurts* them in some way though, which is ironic considering the white witch frame they got a hold of is a defender frame meant to take hits in place of allies. Cero can be likened to a child who throws tantrums for attention despite their appearance suggesting they're anywhere in their late teens to early twenties. On the more positive side Cero's got a bright and burning natural curiosity regarding the world and they're eager to see what it has to offer them, likes to help people too if only because it makes them feel useful.

They have a chunk of their left ear missing, but vehemently denies the wound being there when asked about it. They realized they had a tag on their ear soon after they first became conscious and crudely cut it out.

Trivia

Stole the clothes they're wearing right now (seeing as how they didn't have much to wear after escaping their old "home") but they felt guilty enough about it that they secretly paid the store clerk back later.

Originally wanted a way more offensively focused mech than their white witch but learned to work with what they got.

Currently trying to pick up a bunch of "flashy" hobbies or skills like parkour, knife throwing, and sleight of hand. Only the first two seem to be working out.

Weirdly knowledgeable about chemistry. Mostly uses this knowledge to figure out how to blow things up.
