Meet DINK, the ghost guide to your haunted house adventure!
He'll be sure to provide you lots of spooks and scares as he escorts you throughout the horror attraction, giving off facts about the area and warnings for the building's terrifying inhabitants!
Follow the ghost's advice, and you MIGHT have a chance to make it out of this horror.. alive!!

Dink is an animatronic ghost that performs daily inside of a haunted attraction located in a shopping mall.
Acting as the "guide" for the tour, he follows groups of guests around to guide them through the attraction, giving off cryptic info and lots of scares!
Due to being an animatronic, he can't actually fly. Instead, he's attached to a railway mechanism located in the ceiling.
There are railways located everywhere in the attraction, allowing Dink to "fly" almost everywhere the guests go.
The railway mechanism is also equipped with a rope motor that raises and lowers him, so he can "fly" higher or lower dynamically.
His eyes are black glass circles with white LEDs shining through, and a camera lets him see through the glass.
Due to this, he's able to "turn off" his pupils to let him fully hide in a dark corner, jumping out for a scare! As long as guests don't see the railway mechanism parked there..
With all of his advanced robotics hidden under the cloth, he's capable of lots of facial expressions and body movement to really give off a ghostly effect.
The octopus-like rods located at the bottom of his body move the lower bits of cloth around to simulate ghostly flying movement.
His hands are very squishy and soft! Just don't squeeze too hard, you don't wanna break his fingers.
The "star" on his forehead doesn't have any functional purpose, just acting as a light. Though it does glow brighter when experiencing intense emotions.
The hatch on his chest opens up to access all of his inner mechanisms and circuits for easy repairs.
Due to his ghostly shape, if you looked under the bottom of his cloth, you can clearly see his exposed mechanisms. Dink is extremely embarrassed at this, though.

During performances, Dink has a very boastful, sly, and mischiveous personality, fitting as a guide to the attraction.
He loves being mysterious and sneaky, giving chilling performances to really set the mood for guests.
He almost always rhymes his sentences when speaking, fitting for his trickster ghostly personality. He even rhymes when offduty and speaking to other animatronics and employees!
His smart AI loves planning dynamic jumpscares, making each visit to the attraction fresh as he spooks guests from different angles and areas. You never know what he'll do!
He's able to recognize the age groups of guests, so he's able to dynamically change the "fright level" of his spooks to better match the guest experience.
For example, with groups of mostly young kids, he tones down the scares and goes for a more "fun fright" attitude, making it a more relaxed haunted house experience.
But beware! His cutesy looks and personality are capable of some truly terrifying frights! Guest groups of older people and "thrill seekers" should be prepared for lots of scares from this ghost!
Despite his performance personality and desire to scare, he genuinely just wants every guest to have a spooky fun time at the attraction, and is more than happy when guests show their appreciation or excitement during the tour!

In reality though, Dink's AI has a lot of self-confidence issues. He tries to mask it behind his performance personality, but sometimes cracks show through.
A lot of guests have told him the name "Dink" doesn't sound scary at all, making the poor ghost a bit ashamed of his name.
He doesn't want to change it (mostly because he doesn't know what to change it to), but he gets very sad if people make fun of it.
He's also very insecure about his mechanical nature, due to wanting people to believe he's a "real" ghost in order to provide better performances.
If people point out his mechanical railway, the robotic noises he makes when moving, or look under his cloth to view the mechanisms, he gets very flustered and embarrassed, struggling to keep calm.
During repairs, due to Dink's dislike of his robotic nature, it can be a pretty stressful experience for him. The engineer he's assigned to tries to help him calm down by talking with him, though.
If a group of rowdy or rude guests heckle or derail his performance enough, Dink will have an emotional breakdown and fly away to a dark and quiet corner to sulk in for the remainder of the tour.
He tries to stay collected during performances but due to past experiences he always fears getting embarrassed, sometimes causing him to become paranoid of future groups during bad days.
You can usually tell when he's struggling to keep his AI in check when he stutters during performances, doesn't seem as "lively" during movements or scares, and a lack of variety to his rhymes.
Thankfully, the employees and other animatronics are aware of the ghost's self-confidence issues, and step in if they notice a group giving Dink a hard time.
