she's a track runner. she'll run on beaches because running on sand is Hard and it gives her Thighs For Days. she can crush a watermelon between her thighs

she once heard of an earth character called "sonic", who she was told was a representation of "the fastest and the best". without any idea for sonic memes and having never played a single game, she took on "the sonic" as a nickname/title and owns a sonic suit (sold to her as a suit for "the mascot of a celebrity runner on earth")

more serious thoughts:

- miera, as shown, is incredibly naive and ignorant. not dumb, mind you, but terribly bubbled. she makes up for it with her bubbly personality (pun semi-intended) and genuine wish to make people happy and have fun. however, learning the truth of things does break her quite easily; she's sensitive. for being tall and fit and physically appearing stable, she's immature inside and needs to grow more still

- learning of ember's real job scares her. she has no idea she'd actually meet someone in the middle of this, something sounding like it comes from a movie. it probably takes a lot of talking and reassurance, but miera stays with ember because of who SHE is, not because of her job. it's hard, and probably comes with a lot of tears and learning about the world that she wasn't entirely ready for
