Accused of witchcraft from both on land and in sea, she decides to take on that role out of humor. Mainly the land people forgot about this rumor, but the sea folk remembers it plenty. The merfolk both despised and feared, even when she was a little fry (baby fish) because of her looks; born with gems on her body and have a much paler look than her relatives. Since they made false accusations of her being a sea witch, "Ok, how about we make that lie into truth?"

Ever since she lays curses upon people base on her view of them, whether huge dickwads, or common jerks. Not long until Nether met Kehlanie, she was a beautiful mermaid she seen in her time of life. She immediately wanted to become friends with her, Kehlanie sees why not. Kehlanie was clearly clueless of what was currently going on at the moment, but she didn't bother to look into it that much until they grew older together.
