Born and raised in Clam Butte, Alaska, a small fishing town on the northern coast off the Beaufort Sea

Barrow was born to a commercial fisherman and his wife, and worked alongside his father from a very young age, becoming extremely proficient in the trade

His father was killed during a fishing trip  when barrow was a teenager, After his death, Barrow became the main provider for his mother, fishing during the week and working the market during the weekends

Barrow travels along the northern coast with Seward one week a month, making trips to other outposts to sell his catch

His favorite foods are pacific herring and braised snow goose
