Celine is a spunky young inventor from Fontaine. While her family has focused more on performance art historically, she has decided to follow a different path. Though her family is supportive of her dreams, despite her initial worries they'd force her into their tradition.... she's yet to actually build something functional and useful. They often explode after a short period of time... But, not to worry! She's been doing her best to improve her craft using feedback from other inventors and experimentation! Her passion and drive earned her the Pyro vision she now carries. She aims to one day create an invention that would make people happy, and make her family proud of her.
She is rather high-energy and is constantly running around. She wouldn't have set foot outside of her home country prior to the Traveller's visit, though she'd accompany them (aka when she's set in the party) to gather inspiration and improve her work. She's also highly inquisitive, often asking plenty of questions to the point of annoyance. She'd be very interested in learning about the other nations and observing them. As for discovering treasure—
"Oho! I could use this for my next invention!" she'd say.
Due to her previous background in performance arts, Celine would either be trained in using the sword or polearm as part of her family's shows. Despite not wanting to follow that path, she still maintains those skills as she wants to honor her family's pride and joy and the skills they have gifted her. She has incorporated her faulty machines into her fighting style, using them as offensive weapons and distractions and even imbuing them with her element. Though she'd rather they weren't so faulty, they have proved useful when fending off monsters while gathering materials. She's honestly thankful she knows how to fight back. Her confidence and ability to speak to others also stemmed from her background, actually.
If one were to compare her to a canon Genshin character, one could say she's like the Xiangling or Amber of Fontaine.
