Bakeneko are notable for their cat features; Yoko has a pair of perky feline ears and a silky white tail. Yoko's bobbed hair is ginger, highlighted with streaks of black and eggshell white. Yoko's eyes are green and blue heterochromatic.

Yoko wears an orange, floral-patterned kimono with a cropped miniskirt. The sleeves of her kimono are detached, beginning just above her elbow. Yoko's clothing is accessorized with red kumihimo braids, including her collar and anklet.

• Yoko has earrings in both of her feline ears. Some types of bakeneko have multiple tails, but Yoko only has one.
• Yoko has looped pigtails held in place with large bell-shaped hairpins.
• Yoko is not keen on wearing shoes. If she must, geta sandals are passable.

• The name Yoko is spelled with the characters 陽 (sunlight) and 子 (child). Yoko's surname, Fukuka, is spelled with the characters 福 (fortune) and 加 (to increase).
• Yoko's heterochromia is an indicator of her true nature, as maneki-neko are not typically depicted with this feature.
• Yoko avoids Mike Goutokuji as she is a true maneki-neko, and would likely recognize Yoko as a fraud.
• Yoko's hair color is inspired by that of calico cats.
