Miyugi

As a very young child, Miyugi was separated from her parents and put in the slave markets in the StarShooter capital. Her first owner taught her how to dance, but was also extremely abusive and almost starved her to death. After a few years, she was taken out of the home though a rehabilitation program and purchased by the wealthy Yaiseen family, where she immediately became the favorite plaything of the younger twin Minmae. In contrast, Miyugi was spoiled and pampered in the Yaiseen household, though she understood she was treated more as a pet than a person. It was made all the more obvious when she was sixteen and Minmae began obsessing over getting her paired with a mate for breeding purposes. Not long after this began, Miyugi ran away from the Yaiseen estate and took a recently captured StarDasher with her.

At first, Miyugi tried to find her parents, but she gave up after a short while since she struggled with even remembering where she lived and what her parents looked like. She spent the last five years travelling aimlessly through Jo’Arca, meeting StarDragons of all sorts and performing for them with not only the skills she honed in the StarShooter cities but also a trick or two she’s learned on her travels.

 It has only been recently that Miyugi has found a possible place to settle down in the future; the forests of Starfruit Valley. With its compassionate populace, security against Shooters, and overall pleasant atmosphere, this is the number one place Miyugi would stay if she could. All she has to do now is put her deepest fears at rest somehow.

Miyugi wears a sort of dancing uniform, though it's mostly just flashy loose fabric tied around her chest and hips.

• Lyli Mayall: The Dasher she escaped with. They have recently reunited in Starfruit Valley.
• Becky Darlington: A businesswoman who owns a Bed and Breakfast in Starfruit Valley. Miyugi looks up to her.
