Nikolai

Eccentric. Curious. Forward. A bit mysterious

The medic of the Royal Knights, Nikolai's knowledge on medicinal sciences is nearly next to none. Though, this doesn't necessarily make him as helpful or gentle as might be expected of a Doctor. In fact, his boundless curiosity tends to lead him to experimenting with and creating his own types of medicine! While he does tend to immediately use them on his patients (the other Knights...), the worst these experimental medications do is hurt a little bit (if you're a Digimon..). I mean come on! He's a competent Medical Professional, and very confident in himself! What reason is there to be nervous?

Well, there is a matter of his past. Before being recruited by the Royal Knights, Nikolai once worked for a more corrupt medical organization. Ones that did more truly twisted experimentation. Though, when the darker aspects of this organization came to light after a sting operation by the Royal Knights, Nikolai quit almost immediately. He was followed some time after by two close colleagues of his, though, their paths couldn't have been farther from the one Nikolai walked.

Nikolai was recruited directly by Kai himself, who of course knew about the Jesmon's previous dubious affiliations from back when he was a BaoHuckmon. It's this action that makes Nikolai quite a bit more understanding and a bit softer towards Kai, compared to the other Knights, despite the latter's notoriously sharp tongue and rigid expectations. Despite the Alphamon's paranoia and trust issues, he seems to trust Nikolai quite a bit.

Outside of the office, Nikolai's curiosity also draws out an adventurous side. He enjoys going on little "surveys to collect herbs" or travelling to other villages that might need his medical expertise. Perhaps its due to his dedication to medicine, or maybe his past, but he never turns down giving aid to others, regardless of what "side" they're on.
