A devoted follower of the church. Salem upbringing prior was strict and filled with series of abuse. To put it simply, Salem has been raised to feel fear opposed to joy. Thus rendering them as "useless" as War hound to others.
Before joining the church, an incident occured where all Salem could recollect was fire, snow, blood and the death of their guardian. A trail of blood followed Salem and their hands covered in blood. They are convinced that they killed the abuser and spent decades blaming themselves for it. Formerly used to partake in harmful religious practices on their own accord or enforced by their former guardian. Due to that they are riddled with scars.
Salem is selective mute. They avoid talking if it's possible.

PERSONALITY
A hound of very very little words. They would much prefer to not interact with other demons. They're more scared of others to the point it forms into social anxiety/social phobia. Salem is best described as sheltered. Afraid of the outside world and refusing to be up to date with society as the mere idea stresses them out.
A rather empathetic being, placing the needs of others first before themselves. Contrary to their species subtype, Salem is harmless.
Often described as 'useless' due to this, but the way they behave/act is all a result of their trauma. Salem's the type to tiptoe around others and often doing the most to avoid any type of conflict.
Unfortunately, as a result of their trauma, Salem struggles with self-confidence. Oftentimes, blaming themselves for something that had nothing to do with them.

BEGINNING
Blood littered sprinkled on the snow as a thick blood trail closely follows. The blood is fresh, but the fluid blended with ice. The path slowly leads to a dark figure hunched in the snow. Their outfit and gloves were painted with the bright crimson shade of blood. Their hands shook as the hound glanced down at them. Before their slouched figure, a corpse was there.
Unable to fathom the situation, the hound passes out.

CURRENT
Guilt ridden the figure as they wander around aimlessly. With no goal, no recollection, or anything. Their body on autopilot before a figure runs into them. The hand gently caresses theirs as they were guided to their new Safe Haven. Then all was bliss.

Another figure that shares a similar burden. More hard driven than Salem, but their presence is comforting to the other. Over time the two have grown close.
